as soon as the door closes behind ozzy, duff and steven both turn to slash appalled.
"what, and I cannot stress this enough," duff pauses to take a deep breath through his nose. "the actual fuck."
slash rolls his eyes at him, flopping back onto the bed. "what?"
steven and duff share a look before glancing back to the subject at hand. "uh, I don't want her to be my girl. uh, I dont like raven. uh ravens so fucking stupid... ugh," steven deepens his voice to mock slash. he rolls his eyes yet again. duff is in hysterics at stevens impersonation.
"dude, you just flirted with her," duffs expression turns to one of complete and utter irritation.
"that wasn't flirting," slash immediately defends himself, like he doesn't know exactly what he was just doing.
duff is now flabbergasted. "what!?" he exclaims. "you told her you'd rather she'd have been talking to you instead of brandon, how the fuck is thatnot flirting?"
"yeah, I do," slash admits which gets steven and duffs hopes up momentarily. "and that's because brandon is an actor now, actors are always assholes." and they immediately come crashing back down.
"didnt you date—?" steven trails off knowing that slash knew where he had been going with that. they all knew they'd all dated actresses before, why was he dissing them now? but he did have a point, tons of actors were dicks. steven and duff both sighed, all hope lost that they'd made any progress.
"okay but brandons has always been an overtly nice person, I'm pretty sure raven wouldn't have hooked up with with him if he'd turned into a douche," steven makes another good point. "and besides, you got jealous anyways. we all heard it when she mentioned going to call brandon."
"I did not and you two are delusional," slash jumps to his own defense again, fumbling trying to find a way to defend himself because he and steven both know hes right. "its like i just said, actors are dicks, im not saying brandon is right now, but whats to stop him from turning into one?"
"were not delusional, your mad cause were right," duff told him smartly. "and since when did you care what raven does or who she hangs out with?"
okay, duff had a point with that one. steven and duff share a smug look at the hesitancy on slash's face, knowing he was having a hard time coming up with an answer for that one. "your thinking way too much into the whole situation, i just dont wanna have to deal with it when she gets pissed off about something stupid he did."
