Episode 8: What I can do for now

Our duo have gotten their acceptance letters, and are now going to U.A. Not only that, but the night after they got accepted, they were able to get in touch with All Might again.

The scene opens up on Dagobah Beach, where All Might, in his weakened form, is standing by the water. He then hears footsteps, and he turns around to see Ben and Izuku running toward him.

As the two boys reach him, they are exhausted and shout. "Hey, All Might!"

All Might becomes alarmed. "Keep it down you two! You're going to blow my cover!" Then, just like that, two people overheard it and took interest.

"All Might's here?"

"I want to see him."

Ben and Izuku, upon realizing the mistake they made, tried to do something.

Ben, waving his hands in the air, shouted "U-uh, sorry. False alarm!"

Izuku played along too. "Yeah, we were just kidding! Nothing to see here!"

This, of course, discourages them. The trick worked as they let out a sigh of relief. With that out of the way, All Might raises his hand in the air.

"Congrats on getting in you two."

Ben and Izuku give him a high five. Then, Ben spoke up.

"Thanks, but we couldn't have done it without you."

Then All Might spoke. "Oh, and speaking of which. I didn't tell anyone at U.A. that we trained you. Really, I was one of the judges and didn't pull any strings for you. You both earned those spots all on your own."

Izuku lets out a sigh of relief. "Oh, thanks for telling us that." He then remembers something. "Oh yeah, we heard that you will be teaching at U.A. I was wondering what brought you here all of the sudden. After all, your agency is in Tokyo and everyone knows-"

"Getting creepy." All Might interrupted. "The school didn't want me telling anyone about the job until I made the official announcement. Seeing in my fortuitous time, I will find someone new to inherit One for All."

This made Ben realize something. 'That meant, you were going to give it to a U.A. student.' However, he decided to talk about something else. "Your power completely destroyed my body. And all I did was jump and throw one big punch. I can't control it. What do I do?"

All Might turns to see the boy. "You'll learn to manage it in time. Hoping to master it right away is like asking a baby to run a marathon. You still have to go through the process of learning how to walk."

Ben's eyes widened. "Wait? You knew I was gonna get hurt that badly?!"

All Might shrugs. "Well, yeah. We were on a time crunch. But it turned out alright. Now you know what you're dealing with." He picks up two gas cans. "Right now, your Quirk is either all or nothing. One day, you'll learn how to control your output. Then you'll be able to adjust exactly how much power you're using."

"I just need control?"

"You're overflowing with energy at the moment. With training, your body'll hold it better." He then crushes the cans in his buffed up form. "THEN IT'S YOURS TO COMMAND."

Ben smiles and nods at this. Unfortunately, the moment is cut off when the two people see him as All Might.

"Hey, it really is All Might."

"No way! Really?"

All Might sweat drops. "RIGHT. NOW WE RUN!"

Ben and Izuku follow him, knowing the drill. "Huh? O-okay!"
