BOYNEXTDOOR continues to delight fans with new surprises. Two months after the group's explosive debut, KOZ Entertainment uploaded a sneak-peeks to the group's lightstick, uploaded earlier to the group's official YouTube channel.
Two videos have been uploaded, one animation video showcasing the Lightstick's design - A blue house inside a dome, while the other is a simple slideshow of the lightick on a black background.
In this second video, we see the lightstick glow in six different colours, each representing a different member. Red for Sungho, Cyan for Riwoo, Orange for Jaehyun, Blue for Taesan, Yellow for Leehan, and Green for Woonhak. These light previews have also been updated and added to BOYNEXTDOOR's weverse shop, where the lightstick is available for pre-order.
However, towards the end, one can see the lightstick finally flash a completely different colour. The lightstick glows pink for a few seconds before the screen goes to black, and a voice memo of someone saying Boynextdoor's catchphrase - "Who's there!" before the video ends. Fans speculate this is the secret member that ZICO had hinted at during BOYNEXTDOOR's debut, since it does not match any of the previous member's voices. Additionally, this pink colour is not currently included in the weverse preview for BOYNEXTDOOR's shop.
In response to this mere 5-second clip spreading like wildfire online, Fans have begun speculation of who the new member might be. Currently, there is no information on what trainee shall be joining the group, as possible theories suggest that all staff members have signed NDAs to prevent leak of information. Though a few current HYBE trainees are under suspicion, there have been no concrete evidence of who it will be.
