3rd POV - Hallelujah Mountains - Base Camp
Parvati hated it when her gut started to make her feel as if she were falling. She knew her gut was telling her something like it was warning her that something was going to happen.
Mo'at watched as Parvati stood nervously in the entrance waiting for Lo'ak to return.
"Here are the herbs grandmother." Kiri pulled Mo'at's attention away from Parvati.
"They're here! Para, they have returned!" Tuk yelled, alerting everyone the war party had returned. Navi cried as the irkans landed.
"Let's go." Kiri gently guided her sister as if she needed instructions.
"Mom!" Tuk yelled, running towards her mother.
"Tuk, Tuk, Tuk, Tuk." Mrs. Sully hugged her daughter.
Parvati noticed Netyam was riding with Mr. Sully, and she ran towards Lo'ak and Moon.
"Fall in." Mr. Sully ordered. Her baby brother caught her eye, and she got tense.
"You're supposed to be spotters! You spot bogeys, and you call 'em in," Mr. Sully looked at his oldest, "From a distance! Does any of this sound familiar? Get here!" He pointed at his youngest son to approach him.
Kiri looked at Netyam and saw his injuries. Parvati saw her baby brother's face fall as she took care of Moon; she knew if she approached them, she wouldn't help the problem.
Mrs. Sully was ignoring her right now and it's probably for the best because she wouldn't be thrilled if she came in between 'family' problems.
"Jesus! I let you two geniuses fly a mission and you disobey orders." He paused as he looked at his daughter, addressing her in a way softer tone, "Kiri, can you help your grandmother with the wounded? Please?"
"My brother is wounded." She said to her father, holding Netyam's shoulders.
"It's fine." Netyam answered as he shook her hands off.
"Babygirl, please." Tuk looked at Netyams arm looking at his wounds herself.
"Tuk. Go with her. Go." Mr. Sully huffed.
"Dad. Sir. I take full responsibility." Netyam said to his dad while Parvati discreetly rolled her eyes. Of course he did. The perfect little soldier boy.
"Ya, you do. That's right. Cause you're the older brother. You gotta act like it." Mr. Sully scolds him.
Parvati and Netyam didn't get along at all, he was too much like his mother. But Parvati felt bad for him. Netyam was still a kid, and his father tends to forget that.
Why was it up to him to watch Lo'ak? Where the fuck was Jake? Or Neytiri? Why were they not with their sons in the middle of a dangerous fucking battle? Or why the hell send them out in the fucking first place?
"Ma Jake. Your son is actually bleeding." Mrs. Sully pointed out as she looked at her mate.
"Mother, it's fine." Netyam shook her off too.
"Just go and get patched up. Go on, dismissed." Mr. Sully let them go.
Parvati patted Moon's head and watched as Mrs. Sully walked with her oldest towards Mo'at's home. Leaving her baby brother with Mr. Sully.
"You do understand that you almost got your brother killed." Mr. Sully was pissed off. Nobody could tell in his body language or his eyes, but Luc saw it she knew. She felt it in the air when nobody could.
"Yes, sir." Lo'ak respond to him, defeatedly. Parvati's heart broke for her baby brother.
"You're grounded. No flying for a month. Now, see the ikran. All of 'em." Mr. Sully was not being fair towards his youngest and Parvati hated that.
