Haechan's life had always been a series of unknowns. He had no memories of his parents and had grown up bouncing between orphanages and foster homes. Yet, despite the turbulent start, Haechan had become an optimistic, easygoing university student. He thrived on creating his own family out of friends who, much like him, were a collection of colorful, vibrant personalities.
University life was a whirlwind of lectures, assignments, and social events. Haechan's days often involved juggling group projects that seemed to multiply overnight and trying to figure out the mystery of his endless pile of laundry. Somehow, amid the chaos, he had become known for his perpetually sunny disposition and a knack for turning even the most mundane moments into adventures.
Haechan's core group consisted of his best friends: Chenle, Renjun, Jeno, and Jaemin. They were a motley crew, each with their own quirks that made life anything but boring.
Chenle was the perpetually energetic one, who lived on an endless diet of caffeine and optimism. His idea of a "quick study session" was usually a mix of 2 minutes of actual studying and 58 minutes of binge-watching cat videos.
Renjun was the artistic soul, often found sketching in his notebook instead of taking notes during lectures. His work was so detailed that he once drew an entire comic strip about a mischievous squirrel stealing nuts from a park, which, much to everyone's surprise, became a campus sensation.
Jeno was the calm, collected one - or at least he tried to be. His Zen-like aura was frequently shattered by his addiction to competitive gaming. His room was a shrine to all things video games, complete with a chair that could only be described as a "gaming throne."
Jaemin was the meticulous organizer, which made him the de facto planner of their group. His obsession with planning extended to everything from their study schedules to their weekend outings. He was known to whip out a spreadsheet to organize their plans for a night out, complete with color-coded tabs.
The five of them had a routine for weekends. They'd meet at Jaemin's apartment, where they'd inevitably spend half the evening debating the most trivial matters, like which pizza place had the superior crust. Then they'd hit the town, often finding themselves at some new hotspot that promised the best nightlife.
Tonight, the plan was to check out "Eclipse," a new nightclub that had just opened. As they assembled at Jaemin's place, the apartment was a chaotic blend of pre-party excitement and last-minute preparations.
❝So, do we have everything?❞ Jaemin asked, brandishing a clipboard like a mad scientist. His eyes were scanning the room for any signs of missing items.
❝Relax, Jaemin,❞ Chenle said, bouncing on his heels as he tugged at the strap of his backpack. ❝We've got drinks, we've got IDs, and we've definitely got enough energy to last until sunrise. What more could we need?❞
Renjun, who had been quietly adding final touches to a sketch of a particularly disgruntled cat, looked up and said, ❝The real question is, will they have a place for me to showcase my new dance moves? I've been practicing all week.❞
Jeno rolled his eyes, setting up his gaming headset for a quick round before heading out. ❝Let's just hope your moves don't scare everyone away. I'd like to make it through the night without any emergency evacuations.❞

They arrived at "Eclipse," which was buzzing with excitement. The entrance was adorned with flashing neon lights that could only be described as "extravagant." Haechan's eyes widened as he took in the sheer energy of the place.
❝I hope you guys are ready for this,❞ Haechan said, grinning as he took a deep breath. ❝I've heard it's going to be one of those nights we'll never forget.❞
