October had past by quickly and before they knew it November had arrived, marking around two months since Evelyn and Faith had arrived at the Deluca-Bishop home. It was also Mayas birthday
Maya had just returned from her daily morning run, a visible shine to her skin as she jogged up the first steps of her porch. Her breath visible in the cold air, as she juggled a bag of fresh pastries in one hand, and her keys in the other
she opened the front door quietly as she did every morning as to not wake anyone, and slipped her shoes off abandoning them in the hallway to be felt with later
As she arrived in the kitchen she was greeted by the smell of freshly brewed coffee, and her wife looking less than pleased leant on the island dressed in her silk dressing gown and hair tousled from sleep
was she in trouble? Maya laughed nervously, as she set the bags of food on the counter, "hi?"
"Maya, Bella, what are you doing?" Carina asked with a pout as she took in the sight of her wife dressed in an athletic bra and leggings. "It's your birthday. You should be in bed while I make breakfast for you"
