Prologue

Leona POV

I hopped out of my window and ran down the street. I ran into our alley and met up with my crew. I saw Eric and Erica chilling on the curb waiting against the fence for me. It's kind of obvious their twins though. "It's about time you came Babes" Erica said calling me that babyish nickname. She's my best friend and other half. "You are dressed to provocatively. I'm gonna have to beat these boys off of your behind" Eric said being over protective. Eric look at me as his little sister and I looked at him as my big brother. I was an only child, so it felt nice to have a somewhat older brother.

"Let's go" I said jumping over the fence. I'm pretty strong to be a girl. Eric and Erica followed me as we walked to the party.

We walked in to the live party that Crystal was throwing. I didn't like Crystal, but I couldn't ever turn down a party. I swayed my hips through the crowd throwing my hands up. I walked to the middle and danced with some people I knew from school. I got thirsty and went to the kitchen. I got some Pineapple Ciroc and poured it in my cup. I chugged it down in one gulp. "Dang Ma, don't kill yourself" This cute boy said. He had dimples, lightskin, and pretty eyes. "I can handle it. Don't worry about me" I said laughing.

"What's your name ma" He said flashing a short smile. "Leona. What's yours" I asked. He walked over to me and went by my ear. "Somethings are better left unsaid. You'll find out later" He whispered and kissed me behind my ear. I shivered and felt frightened, but turned on. I walked away and decided to get some fresh air. I walked out the back door and set on the pool chair relaxing.

It was kind of dark, but it was light coming from the light blue pool water. I closed my eyes until I felt strong arms grab me. I bit my kidnappers shoulder and hit him as hard as I could. He hit me across the face and everything went black from there.

I woke up in all black and in this weird room. I opened the door and saw 9 other dorms all probably 10 feet away from each other down a long hallway. I heard people talking around the corner, so ran I towards them. "WHERE AM I" I yelled. I looked at the people and saw the mysterious boy from the party. "You?! You were at the party last night" I said pointing my finger at him. He pulled me away from the other people and took me to my room.

"I can explain everything if you just sit down and calm down" He said. "CALM DOWN?! I DON'T KNOW WHERE I AM, BUT I'M SUPPOSED TO CALM DOWN" I said looking at him. I sat down and waited for some answers. "You at PRISM. PRISM is a place where teens are trained to become special agents for the government. You were chosen because you show the characteristics of a PRISM agent" He said. "What are the characteristics" I said completely clueless. "Initiative, Bravery, Strength, Deceiving, and Pride" He said.

"What is even you name" I asked him. " My name is Khalil" He said. "I'm the instructor of recruits and I'm in special ops" He standing up. He didn't look strong but I know that he is. I guess that's what mean by deceiving. I mean I can be deceiving, but I choose not to be. People tell me I'm gorgeous. My ex even told me I had the power to kill him. I never thought I just overly gorgeous. I thought I was decent and that was it.

"You have training in 15 minutes. So, if I was you I would try to get mentally stable" He said walking out of the room. How was a person suppose to be mentally stable in a situation like this? Jesus Christ help me.

"Okay, today we're going to work on combat" Khalil said looking at all of the recruits. "We'll be doing sparing. So we'll pair you up with each other. This is just to see what you know and what we need to work on" This girl said who looked just like Khalil. "First, up is Leona and Janice" Khalil said looking at me. I hopped up and walked towards the mat. This Janice girl looked like she wanted to brutally murder me. Khalil blew the whistle and we started our match.
