The archeologists greatest find (Izumomo)

'An archeologist stumbles upon the ancient tomb if a long forgotten king who is said to have vanished over 1,000 years ago until she opens the tomb to find the still alive and young king sipping tea and reading a book inside his own tomb'

Story (Narrator's POV)

As Momo entered the final chamber of the tomb this one like the others was blocked by a dusty old cobweb covered wooden door but as she pushed it open expecting to find a shrine to the lost king Izuku or treasures or something along those lines she was shocked to see quite a comfortable looking living room with a lit fireplace and a chair beside said fireplace and in the chair sat the supposed 'lost' king Izuku Midoriya who was thought to be lost for over 1,000 years "umm hhhello?" Momo said shakily making Izuku remove his glasses and put down his book before getting up to greet her "ahh hello young lady nice to meet you please come in and sit down can I get you anything tea or perhaps some water?" Izuku asked politely as he ushered her over to what seemed to be a dining room table "water would be great thankyou" Momo told him still confused as to how he was still alive after all these years

"I suppose your wondering how I managed to survive all this time aren't you" Izuku said shocking Momo "wait you know how long you've been down here?" Momo asked him curiously as he nodded while handing her a glass of water "if my math is right and it usually is I've been here for exactly 1,000 years 6 months 2 weeks and 4 days to be precise and I suppose your next question will be something along the lines of if I was alive why did I disappear" Izuku said once again shocking Momo who nodded her eyes still wide "well why didn't you come back?" Momo asked making Izuku smile softly "well miss umm sorry I didn't catch your name" Izuku said making Momo realise he was right she never told him who she was

"Oh right I'm Momo Yaoyorozu but please call me Momo" she told Izuku who just nodded and took a sip from his teacup before speaking "well Momo the reason for my disappearance all those years ago was this I never wanted to be a king I just wanted a normal life a peaceful one where I could be left alone to my own devices but then my parents died unexpectedly and I was crowned king and from the second that crown touched my head everyone either needed me or wanted something from me so I left and built this place so no one would bother me ever again and I could be left to my own life" Izuku told her as Momo nodded along listening to his explanation

"What about your immortality how did that happen?" Momo asked Izuku as she took a sip of her water "I actually am not too sure all I remember is going to sleep one night then I had this weird dream about a voice saying that one day my skills would be needed for a greater calling and that as long as I was needed I would always be alive" he explained as Momo now also looked as confused as he did "and how long ago was that?" Momo asked the confused look still plastered on her face "umm it was about 3 weeks after I finished building this place and moved in" Izuku told her a confused look also on his face

"And what was this greater calling the voice told you about?" Momo asked him and Izuku just shrugged his shoulders "I wish I knew Momo I really do" Izuku said with a sigh as he fetched over a small green teapot and refilled his cup "so mr immortal king you said you didn't want to be king what did you wanna be?" Momo asked him curiously wanting to know more about his life "no one has ever bothered to ask me that before but umm if I had to pick maybe something where I could help people or maybe something peaceful like a librarian or something so no one would bother me" Izuku explained as Momo sat and listened intently as she enjoyed hearing this more than 1,000 year old king talk so passionately about what he wanted

"So why don't you do that in society nowadays people that save people are called heroes and they get paid pretty well there are even schools for it like the one I attended" Momo explained as she finished her water and watched Izuku take a sip of his tea "or if you want you could get a librarian job or even open your own book store be your own boss so no one can tell you what to do plus you've been 'dead' for over 1,000 years no one will know you and no one will be able to bother you" Momo explained and Izuku seemed to enjoy the idea that maybe when he walked down the street no one would stop and ask him money or stuff like that which was one of the main reasons why he was starting to love this time period especially the onyx haired beauty that stood before him

"Hmm I didn't think of that thankyou Momo" Izuku told her as he stood up from the table "where are you going?" Momo asked him curiously "I am going to pack my bags and we are going to the so called 'modern' world that you speak of" Izuku told Momo as he then left to pack his bags and after a short while he returned "ok Im ready let's go" Izuku said as he took one last look at the place that had been his home for centuries "Izuku are you coming?" Momo yelled from outside "yeah let's go" Izuku yelled back as he followed her outside as the two left the temple grounds for a new chapter in both their lives

Time skip

Izuku walked inside of a moderately sized house and locked the door behind him and went towards the kitchen where he was met by his favourite sight in the world his beautiful wife Momo who was holding their newborn daughter Izumi "hi honey Im home" Izuku said as he walked over and kissed Momo's neck from behind as he then wrapped his arms around her waist "mmmmm hi sweetheart how was work today?" Momo asked as she leaned into his embrace "oh you know the usual but I counted down the seconds till I could race home to see my girls" Izuku said and just then Izumi woke up and smiled a toothless smile up at her parents 'yeah this is a great life' Izuku thought to himself as he smiled down at his daughter and wife
