Some people say that being in front of crowds made them nervous.

Not me though

I felt a strange feeling of calm as I stood facing thousands of fans screaming my name.
"What's up California!", I screamed into the mic and the crowd screamed.
"I hope you guys are good, as you know this is the last stop on my tour so I have something special planned for you" and with that, I sang my first ever song from my 1st ever album, at the end of it, I had to cover my ears to prevent some permanent damage. I was about to go when the crowd suddenly started singing......

I'm sorry
Don't leave me
I want you here with me
I know that your love is gone

I could feel myself tearing up, this was a song I could never release, it was just too personal, the public wasn't even supposed to know but someone had leaked a video of me singing a few lines and here I was hearing from so many people

Some were crying
Just like me

It wasn't just the end of my tour but possibly the end of my whole career, at least for the next 2 yrs, I guess they knew. I smiled and grabbed the mic, "I love you California", they screamed and my eyes widened in shock and happiness as I saw a large banner that said "WE LOVE YOU TOO", I had to be dragged offstage by my manager because I didn't want to leave, it'd been a long time since I had felt so much love.
I was still smiling when I entered the car to take me to my hotel when my snooty manager started talking.
"Sophie, do you have to do this?, look at what just happened, you can't just end your career!", I rolled my eyes, "I'm not ending it Cassius, I'm just taking a break, I want to go to school like a normal person, make friends, take pop quizzes", ok maybe I didn't mean that last one but you get the point. Cassius rolled his eyes and adjusted his hair, again. "A break for 2 yrs Sophie?".
"Yes, a break for 2 yrs"
"Why?"
"Because I want to"
He scoffed in disgust and muttered "Just like my son, useless"

That did it for me and I turned to him for the first time since we entered that car.

"I don't care how old you are, insult me like that again and you are fired and I'll personally make sure you never get another job in Hollywood again."

He seemed stunned for a moment but didn't say a word again, I gritted my teeth, I would've fired him long ago but each time I wanted to, I'd think about his son and back out, from the sound of things, he was being treated horribly by his excuse of a father.
Finally we reached the hotel, I went straight to my room and collapsed on the bed, I had one day to relax and then I was on a plane to New York to start my life as a teenager.
