Coffee and cakes were soon set on their table, the rich aroma mingling with the evening air.

Jaemin wasted no time, eagerly reaching for his cup of coffee. He brought it to his lips and took a long, satisfying sip.

The warmth of the coffee seemed to melt away his fatigue, and a contented smile spread across his face as he savored the comforting taste.

When his gaze landed on the red-head in front of him, a smile crept up on his lips. He watched with amusement as Vinny delighted in the cakes, his enjoyment evident in every bite.

"Is it good?" Jaemin asked, breaking the comfortable silence and catching Vinny's attention.

Vinny raised an eyebrow, then gave a nod of confirmation. "Would you like to try?" he suggested.

A mischievous smile spread across Jaemin's lips as he leaned closer to Vinny. With a playful glint in his eye, he pointed at his own lips and said, "Feed me."

The request was as cheeky as it was unexpected, leaving Vinny momentarily taken aback.

"Hah? Are you crazy?" Vinny grumbled under his breath, his tone a mix of disbelief and annoyance.

Jaemin couldn't help but chuckle at Vinny's reaction. The red-head's exasperation only made the moment more amusing, and Jaemin's laughter filled the air with lightheartedness.

Vinny slid the plate across the table toward Jaemin, revealing a tempting strawberry shortcake.

His eyes flickered with mild disinterest, and he shook his head in refusal. "Oh, I'm just teasing," Sweets are something he isn't really fond of.

He nudged the plate toward Vinny once more, who happily accepted it. Vinny was well aware that the man before him had little taste for sweets

Each time Jaemin wandered into the cafe, his choices were invariably simple—a robust coffee paired with a slice of cake. However, that cake rarely stayed with him for long. The red-haired man, as if by an unspoken agreement, always seemed to claim it for himself.

Jaemin, however, didn't let this bother him. In fact, he found contentment in the fact that, whenever he settled into his usual corner, the red-haired man was there to keep him company.

After all, the cake was merely a lure—a way to ensure the company he enjoyed so much.

The phone beside Vinny rang a few times before he reached for it and answered. Jaemin's gaze shifted to the red-haired man, a flicker of curiosity in his eyes as he wondered who was on the other end of the line.
