The next morning, Jungkook and Jisung decided to visit the hotel's pool to relax and distract themselves from the previous night's strange events. The sun was shining brightly, and the water looked refreshing. As they walked to the pool, they chatted and joked, trying to keep things light.
"Did you see that girl at the reception?" Jisung asked, nudging Jungkook. "She was totally checking you out."
Jungkook laughed, shaking his head. "I think she was just being friendly. Besides, I've got too much on my mind right now."
They found some lounge chairs by the pool and sat down. The atmosphere was calm and peaceful, with a few people swimming and enjoying the morning. They started gossiping about the other guests, making up stories about their lives and laughing at their own creativity.
"See that guy over there?" Jisung pointed to a man in a bright red swimsuit. "I bet he's a secret agent on a mission."
Jungkook chuckled. "Or maybe he's just a regular guy on vacation."
As they talked, Jungkook noticed the pool area gradually becoming empty. One by one, the guests left until it was just him and Jisung. Jisung didn't seem to notice, but Jungkook felt a chill run down his spine.
Suddenly, to Jungkook's horror, he saw a woman sitting by the pool with her legs in the water. She was looking directly at them, smiling gently. Her skin was extremely pale, almost ghostly white. It was the woman from the cursed room, Jisoo.
Jungkook's heart pounded in his chest. He wanted to say something to Jisung, to point out the woman, but he was frozen in fear. He glanced at Jisung, who was still talking, oblivious to what Jungkook was seeing.
When Jungkook turned back to the pool, Jisoo was gone. The water was still, and there was no sign of her anywhere. He blinked, trying to make sense of what he had just seen. Had he imagined it? Was his mind playing tricks on him?
"Hey, are you okay?" Jisung asked, noticing Jungkook's pale face.
Jungkook forced a smile. "Yeah, just... tired, I guess."
He decided not to tell Jisung what he had seen. It was too extreme, too unbelievable. Jisung might think he was losing his mind. Jungkook took a deep breath and tried to shake off the fear. But deep down, he knew something was very wrong.
They spent the rest of the morning at the pool, but Jungkook couldn't relax. His eyes kept darting around, half-expecting to see Jisoo again. The memory of her pale face and eerie smile haunted him, making it hard to focus on anything else.
As they finally got up to leave, Jisung patted him on the back. "Don't worry, man. It's probably just the stress. Maybe you need a good night's sleep."
Jungkook nodded, but he knew it was more than just stress. He was caught up in something far beyond his understanding, and he wasn't sure how to escape it.
