~ No One's POV ~ Kaiyia and Keino are in the living room. She is packing the living room things while Keino is watching his favorite cartoon. The phone starts ringing. She gets up and walks to the kitchen. She grabbed the phone and walked back to the living room.
" Hello. " She answered, putting their pictures in a small box. " Hey, it's Draken. " He said. She sighed. " Kaiyia, I know what I said was wrong, but you have to admit it's the truth." Draken says, typing on the computer at his motor shop. " I know. " She closed the box and opened another one. " I just don't want Tatsuko to break Keino's heart. " She looks at her son. He is sitting on the couch watching TV. " Kaiyia, you know I'm here for you no matter what. " He said. She smiles.
" You know what, why don't I come by and help you pack. " He says. She looks shocked. " How did you - " my landlord came to my house yesterday and told me about it. I mean, I'm packing as well. " He chuckled. She smiled and started packing the kitchen.
" Draken. " She called. He hummed and got in his car. " Why don't we live next to each other? " She asked, closing the box and opening another one.
She has 6 boxes in the living room and 2 in the kitchen so far. There are 4 in her bedroom and 1 in Keino's room. " I was going to ask you the same thing. " He chuckled and started his car. " I don't mind living next to you. " He said. " Okay, I will call you when I am finished. " She smiled. " See you in 25 minutes. " He says, then hunged the phone up.
15 minutes later
" Mommy? " Keino called, walking into the kitchen. She looked down and smiled. " Yes, baby? " She said. " I'm hungry. " He whined, grabbing a fist full of her sweats. She laughed and nodded. She bent down and grabbed his hand.
She grabbed his hand and walked to the fridge.
~ Kaiyia's POV ~ I grabbed Keino's hand, and I opened the refrigerator door. " See anything you want? " I asked. He nods and points to the spagehtti. I nod. I grabbed the container with the spagehtti and took the lid off and put it in the microwave, and pressed start.
Keino walks back to the living room and sits on the couch. I smiled and put a pot on the stove and turned it on.
I grabbed the sauce jar and opened it. Before I put it in the pot, there was a knock at my door. I turned the pan and pot on low and walked to the front door, looked in the peephole, and saw Draken with some more boxes. I smiled and shook my head.
I opened the door and stepped to the side. He walked and took his shoes off. " So, your landlord. " He gives me that look. The ' Has he done anything to you guys? ' type of look.
" He hasn't done anything. Why? " I asked, closing the door and locking it. " Well, he told me to give you this. " Draken hands me a paper. I grab it and look at it. ' What? A Complaint? ' I glared. " What does it say? " He asked. " I have a few complaints from my neighbors. " I rolled my eyes and walked back into the kitchen.
