Kat and Stiles have been best friends since the day they met when they were 3 years old. Ever since that day, they were inseparable. After Stiles' mom passed away, Kat was there the whole time, she stayed with him every single night. Kat and her dad, Bobby, helped out as much as they could around the Stilinski household. Helping Noah get back on his feet after losing his wife, and helping Stiles get his spark back. The spark his mother loved so much.

When they made it to third grade Stiles developed a crush on a redhead girl in their class. "Strawberry Blonde!" Named Lydia Martin. She was rather popular, even for being in third grade. Stiles admired her from afar but never spoke to her.

When they got to junior year, they met Scott McCall. From that point forward they were the trio. Everybody wanted to be part of their group, or at least that's what Stiles tells himself. They didn't have any other friends aside from each other.

They made it to Freshman year, and Stiles, Scott, and Kat decided to try out for the Lacrosse team. Scott and Stiles made it, but Kat didn't.

"You're not playing on the team. Final answer." Bobby sat down at the dinner table next to Kat. "Dad! Why? I can play, I'm good!"

"Because it is far too dangerous for you, I don't need you getting hurt mija."

Did I forget to mention it? Katarzyna's mother was Latina, she and Bobby split up, and she hadn't seen her in years.

Kat decides she needs to find something else to do with her time, she begs and begs her dad to let her start a cheer team for lacrosse games, and he caves.

Katarzyna Finstock, the proud captain of the Beacon Hills Cheer team.

Scott barely made it through freshman year, but with help from Kat and Stiles, he did. Now, it is summer break going into their sophomore year. They spend the summer going back and forth between each other's houses.

"Are we going to mine, or Scott's tonight?" Kat walks up between Scott and Stiles on the sidewalk.

"My mom's working the night shift tonight, so we can go to mine."

"Thank god, I don't want to hear my dad ask you guys about lacrosse tryouts again." Kat rolls her eyes, "So meet up at Scott's after dinner?" The boys nod.

"Adios!" Kat waves and walks up the sidewalk to her front door.

"I'm home." She shuts the door behind her and kicks her shoes off. "Dad?" She walks into the kitchen, looking around for her dad. "Getting ready for lacrosse tryouts, be home after dinner. Love Dad." She pulls the note off of the fridge and tosses it on the counter. "Okay...."

"Dude, you need to stop pining over her." Stiles and Scott continue walking down the street, "You know the rules, no dating in the friend group." Stiles wacks Scotts' arm.

"I'm not pining after her, Stiles." He smacks his hand away, "Besides, you can't tell me you don't think she's cute." He stops walking and faces Stiles.

"I mean, of course, I think she's cute and beautiful, a-and hot... and sometimes I wonder why she hangs out with us when she could so be friends with Lydia Martin... But this isn't about me! This is about you, pining over Kat." He pokes at Scotts' chest.

Scott laughs, "Yeah, you like her."

"I don't! There is no dating in the friend group!" Stiles says, oddly defensive. "That doesn't mean you can like her," Scott says, "It just means you can't date her." Stiles shakes his head, "How the hell did this get turned around on me, you're the one pining after her." Scott shoves him, and takes off walking, "I am NOT pining after her."

Stiles laughs, catching up with Scott, "Yeah, okay."
