Janhvi Rathi was engrossed in her work, the soft hum of the hospital's fluorescent lights the only sound in her small office. As the Chief Surgeon of the prestigious Harmony Hospital, she was accustomed to long hours and intense focus. Tonight was no different. Her patient files were meticulously organized, and she was reviewing post-surgical notes when a knock on the door interrupted her concentration.

"Come in," she called out, not looking up from the paperwork.

The door opened slowly, and Vikram Singh walked in , his father owns the hospital. He was impeccably dressed in a tailored suit, his hair perfectly styled, and his smile seemed to hold a certain charisma that was hard to ignore. Despite the formality of his appearance, Janvi had always felt uneasy around him.
Janhvi stood straight and started asking "What brings you here sir?" She hesitated and said " Please have a seat." Pointing towards the sofas in her cabin.

"Dr. Rathi," Vikram began, his tone smooth and rehearsed. "I just wanted to come by and personally congratulate you on the personally congratulate you on the surgery you performed last night. It was nothing short of miraculous."

Janhvi looked up, her eyes meeting his. She managed a polite smile, though she felt a pang of unease. "Thank you, Mr. Singh. It was a team effort."

Vikram walked over the table and sat near her, his movements deliberate and assured. He leaned slightly towards her, his gaze lingering on her. "Still, it was your expertise that made all the difference. I'm truly impressed."

Janvi's smile faltered slightly as Vikram's fingers brushing against her hand in a manner that was far too intimate for a professional setting. She pulled her handaway subtly, trying to maintain her composure. She immediately stand up and asked "Is there something else I can help you with, Mr. Singh? "

Vikram's smile remained, but his eyes hardened slightly. "Actually, yes. I was hoping we could discuss something in private.i want to have dinner with you tonight . It's been a while since we had a chance to talk and also I want to give you a reward for you brilliant job yesterday. "

Janvi's stomach tightened. She had been wary of Vikram's attention before, but this was crossing a line. She had no intention of accepting his invitation, especially given the context of their interaction. "I appreciate the offer, but I'm quite busy with my work," she replied firmly. "And sir I don't want any rewards. "

"Come on, janhvi you are such a beautiful girl I want to have a sweet dinner with you " Vikram said still with his creepy smile. " No sir , I don't go to dinners and all. Can you please leave? I have so much work to do. "
Vikram's smile faltered, and for a brief moment, his expression grew cold. He held the janhvi's hand tightly and said while clutching his jaw "Dr. Rathi , I understand you're busy, but you should know that sometimes, refusing to engage can have unintended consequences. It might be in your best interest to reconsider."
Janvi's heart raced, she clutches her hand and slapped across his face. " If you want a reaction, try words instead." Vikram released her hand, and said while angry " You'll have to pay for this Dr. Rathi. Remember this you'll have to pay for this. "

As Vikram turned and walked out of the office, Janvi felt a wave of relief mixed with lingering anxiety. She knew she needed to address this situation but wasn't sure where to start. She took a deep breath and refocused on her work, trying to make the situation better.
