"Dizzy? That red wine is pretty strong."

Shu Yubai looked at her with concern and asked, "Do you want something to help with the hangover?"

"A bit dizzy."

Nan Xue furrowed her brows slightly.

"I'll go downstairs to buy some hangover medicine."

Shu Yubai turned to leave.

"Don't."

Nan Xue hugged her. "I don’t want to take medicine."

"Uh... don't be so close."

Shu Yubai gently pushed her away.

The girl was really drunk, sticking close to her. One hand held Shu Yubai, while the other wrapped around her slender neck. She leaned in to speak in her ear, her dark, cool hair cascading down.

Her breath was light and airy, with a faint scent.

Her snow-white cheeks had a noticeable blush, and her gaze was somewhat hazy, filled with mist.

"Time to sleep."

The girl tugged on her hand and whispered in her ear.

The close proximity made Shu Yubai's ears gradually flush with a slight warmth.

"You haven’t washed up yet."

Shu Yubai's slightly cold fingertips rubbed her earlobe to cool down the warmth. She smiled gently and led Nan Xue toward the bathroom, saying softly, "You can't just go to sleep when you're drunk."

"Don’t need to wash."

Nan Xue shook her head and said softly, "Sleep."

"No, you can’t."

"Tired... Sister, sleep."

It seemed like the only word left in her mind was "sleep."

She kept repeating it.

Shu Yubai couldn’t help but smile. If Nan Xue woke up tomorrow and remembered how she acted tonight, she wondered if she would feel embarrassed or awkward.

Though her words were reluctant, she followed Shu Yubai into the bathroom without any resistance.

She was very obedient.

Wherever Shu Yubai led her, she followed.

Nan Xue was very gentle and quiet when she was drunk. Shu Yubai guided her into the bathroom. The glass and wooden door opened, revealing a bathroom filled with a thin layer of white steam. It was warm and humid, and the mirror was foggy, reflecting indistinct silhouettes.

Shu Yubai took a tissue and gently wiped the mirror, while Nan Xue leaned against the doorframe and watched her back. The woman’s slender and soft waist, along with her dark, flowing hair, swayed gently.

The mirror became clear again.

Shu Yubai walked over, took a corner of a towel, dampened it in hot water, and said, “Come here.”

Nan Xue walked over.

“Wash yourself a bit.”

Shu Yubai handed her the towel.

The towel was a square piece, a light yellow with a warm tone, featuring a small bear—one Shu Yubai had bought for her.

“Sister, help me.”

Nan Xue pointed to her cheeks. “I feel so dizzy that I can't even see the mirror clearly.”

She wanted Shu Yubai to help wash her face?
