Now I've written this. I need so much more of this ship. And why do I feel like "Our Song" by p!nk fits them so well?"Siobhan?" Winter said confused as he walked into the sister nursery. He hadn't seen her in ages and was rather confused as to why she was here. "Yes, Winter?" She said, not looking up from her paperwork. "I didn't recocnize you there for a second venomous Serpent." Winter said, knowing it would cause a reaction, and it did.
Siobhan hadn't heard that nickname in ages. The last time was in middle school, when Winter said it for the last time. "I love you, my venomous Serpent." She remembered how much it had made her smile when he said that. Only he was allowed to use that nickname on her and no one else. She knew people still called her it when she wasn't around, but it wasn't like she could stop it. When she interacted with the wrong person, her words were venomous. Just the right amount of venom to keep you alive, but still have you hurt.
"Hmm, not yours, though." Siobhan said, looking at him. He didn't change much from when she last saw him. "Still the same, that look of yours never changed." Winter smiled to himself. He always loved her, but he had to break it off after school. Her parents didn't allouw dating, and the excuse of a project they needed to work on didn't work anymore. "I'll miss you, Siobhan. I will wait to meet you in another life and we can be together. I love you, my venomous Serpent." He said, kissing her one last time before they walked away from each other.
"Yeah, ur not..." It was silent in the office. They looked away from eachother and it only made it more awkward. "You know," Winter started. "I still love you." Siobhan looked suprised, they had been away from each other for over twenty years, and he still loved her? "Winter, it was in high school and things have changed. Sadly for you, the feeling is not mutual."
Winter looked at her heartbroken before, turning away. "What room am I in?" He said, his voice a mix of sadness and anger. "Babyroom." With that, he walked away.
The day was so slow for both of them. Winter still feeling heartbroken, but he had to hide it for the children's sake. Siobhan was in the office only thinking about the moments she had shared with Winter in their childhood. All the movie nights they did, the times when they ate ice cream and Winters face was coverd with it.
Also, a memory passed from one specific night in the last week of school where things escalated a bit. It started with the innocent kissing, but then it turned into something more.
Just as Winter was about to walk out of the building, Siobhan stopped him and hugged him tight. Winter didn't see it coming, but he hugged her back, figuring she needed it. When they broke the hug, Siobhan looked at Winter with hurt in her eyes. "Can I go to yours? please?"
Winter gave her a simple nod, and that was all she needed. Winter opened the door for Siobhan as she stepped in, and then he went to the drivers seat and drove off.
He drove looking at Siobhan every now and then to make sure she was doing okay. When they arrived at his apartment building, he held the door and helped her step out of the car. "Wow, I nearly forgot how much of a gentleman you are." Siobhan commented as she walked with him to his house. Winter smiled at her and held her hand. "It's like we're 16 all over again." Now it was Siobhans' turn to smile thinking back at their past. "Would you like anything to drink?" Winter asked him after he told Siobhan to make herself at home.
Once, Winter was her home. He was the person she felt safe with, and she wanted to spend every waking minute with him. She sat on the sofa looking around his apartment. It wasn't as huge as her house was, but it was cosy. It was very welcoming, and everything was tidy.
"No, thank you." She said, and Winter walked to the kitchen. He came back with two cups of tea, knowing she always said no but secretly wanting a drink. Siobhan was confused as to why he had brought two cups, though. "Why did you bring two cups? I said I wasn't thirsty." He places the teacups on the table and sat down next to her. "Because I know you."
She leaned on him with her head on his shoulder. She really missed that feeling of comfort he used to give her. They sat there for a few minutes before Winter started a conversation. "Shoukd we just order take out?" Siobhan just nodded. She watched as Winter took his phone out of his pocket and ordered something he knew she liked. "How do you remember so many little details about me when it's ben so many years?"
Siobhan took her head from his shoulder for a bit so she could look at him. "That's nothing for you to worry about, Siobhan. The only thing that you need is your food."
Siobhan had the feeling she needed to be close to Winter for the entire time she was there. She loved it that he still cared when no one else did. When he went to the door to grab their food, she felt the need to hold him close.
He cared
In her life, she had no one who cared. Her parents were too wrapped up in theirselfs to notice her when she was younger, and she hated them so much for it. She also dispised them for making her leave Winter. Everyone that surrounded her hated her, but not Winter.
When she was in his arms, she felt like that little girl again. That girl who could not be harmed by anyone because he was there to protect her. He was there when her parents had a major fight and she ran away. He was there to make good memories that last forever. He had always been there for her, but she couldn't be there for him.
"Winter, I'm still sorry that I was never really there for you when we were younger. You were always there for me, but I never was there for you." She was holding back her tears as Winter put his pizza on the table. "But Siobhan, you were there for me." Winter said, making Siobhan look at him confused. "Remember that one time that guy bullied me for my curly hair? You stood up for me. You were there for me, Siobhan." This made Siobhan think, she was there for him.
They spend their time together cuddling on the sofa and sharing what had happened in their life's since school with a movie in the background. Eventually, when Siobhan was about to fall asleep, Winter carried her to the spare bedroom, but Siobhan insisted that she didn't mind sleeping in his bed.
She wore one of his shirts for bed, and they laid with their eyes wide shut, holding hands.
Whilst Winterwas wandering where they lost their touch, Siobhan thought about her need for Winter. She needed him so damn much. They didn't know they were both thinking about their past relation, but they could feel it. Why was everything hard?
Siobhan needed to feel more than just his hand, so she cuddled up to him. She fell asleep, safe in his touch. Nothing could harm her as long as she was with him.

This is so adorable I can't, ofcourse I felt the need to put a little p!nk reference in, and I just love the way this chapter turned out. I think it's either one of my best chapters so far or just my best.
