"He cheating again."

I tell my best friend everything knowing that she is tired of it.

"Girl bye."

Raven, my friend, hangs up. 5 minutes later, she is sitting outside my house.

I grab my purse and my lip gloss, already knowing what type of time my friend is on.

A couple sprays of White Diamonds, a little twirl in the mirror.

I grab my keys and as I'm walking down the stairs, I see our picture....

My man. My man, my man, my man, my man. The same man that leaves me for days.

The same man that throws me against the wall.

The same man that cheats and blames me for it.

But also the same man that I keep letting get away with it.

Do I love him?

Yes, way too much.

Does he love me?

Not anymore......

Or maybe it doesn't feel like it?

Why haven't I left yet?

When it's good, it's GREAT! Sometimes the good outweighs the bad...

But I think now the bad is overpowering the good.

I should have left when it first started.

So many red stops....

But I flew by as if the light was green.

My friends told me, warned me...

But "love" warmed me...

Or as I thought

"BOY. DID YOU NOT HEAR ME BEEPING?!"

Knocking me out of my train of thought, there stands my beautiful stallion of a friend standing at the bottom of the stairs.

Raven. My darling. My sunshine. My twin flame. My stallion.

Well, now ANGRY beautiful stallion.

"My bad, here I come." I tell her as I put the picture down.

"You looking at old GARBAGE?" She asks seeing the picture.

"Girl, yeah, whatever. I'm ready."

I push that negative energy off me and decide to just enjoy my time with my friend.

We pull up at the mall and grab some cute matching fits for the festivities later.

Yes, corny friend stuff I know but 2 Barbie dolls are better than one, right?

"We are going to eat it up tonight!" She yells.

"Girl, tonight? Don't we have like 2 hours bookie?" I question her.

"Well later, tonight, tomorrow, you know the vibe. We outside!" She says and laughs.

'Yeah, we bout to have a ball." I laugh and smile. I look at her. She rolls her eyes.

"Don't even thank me. Let's go get dressed." She says and we go to the car.

With her blasting music and us singing to the top of our lungs, I start to have fun and forget about........

HIM.......
