The Lunar Eclipse

Prologue

As he walks closed to me, my heart starts pounding louder. He leans over, whispering in my ear. His warm breath fanning over my ear sending shivers of fear down my spine. "Don't lie about this my darling. I will kill you this instant if you lie to me." Blood rushes to my veins, fear creeps up my spine as his words start to process my mind in the jumble of mess it's in now. I'm shocked at the venom dripping in every word. Then he's telling me about how it's my fault she's gone. Only mu fault.

All hope I had about us fixing died down as my flushed cheeks were drained from all color. My mouth gaping like a fish out of water.

I feel a smooth cold, sharp thing press against my exposed skin. I slowly look down and see the tip of a dagger pressing soft, but firmly unto me. Lifting my head up, I stare at the most beautiful face of someone I came to fallen in love with twisting into something ugly. Even then I could still see the faint lines of his once sweet smile.

Fear gripped me with a tight hold preventing me from running. I'm pretty sure he new for his face changed drastically into a grin. He slowly removes the dagger and raises his hand tentatively to my belly.

His touch as soft as a butterfly. My breathing hitched up. Soon hid hand added a little more pressure "I know your little secret darling"

My eyes widen. How could he know?

"you didn't really think you could keep him away from me, did you?" He's face once again returning to a malicious ugliness. "If he survives he's surely mine"

So quick I didn't see him move, he shoved the dagger hilt deep into my stomach making me crumple to the floor. "Bye darling" Taking a step back he looks down at my fallen body and tsks at me before turning around and walking away.
