"Ari!, get your butt here now!" My mom yells for the third time this morning.
Rolling my eyes, I holler back "I'm coming!" Still struggling to tie my hair into a simple pony-tail. Ugh stupid hair! Will you just comply with me this time! My face probably red from frustration.
Finally after 10 minutes of struggling I tied my unruly curly hair and without taking a single look in the mirror knowing full well it doesn't look the east bit decent. Grabbing my plaid black shirt to cover my tank top and converse, the left one having to have been victim to my boredom in school, a smiley face drawn with red ink.
"Ari!" Mom yells again
"Jesus woman I said I'm coming!" I grab my back pack, and out the door and down the stairs. Making my way to the kitchen where I know she's impatiently waiting I say "I'm here" a bit short out of breathe.
"Good. Now get your butt in the car" she point at the door.
"Bu-but what about my fruit bowl? Or breakfast in general?!" I ask
"She reaches behind her holding my fruit bowl "Now go. You'll eat in the car"
"Fine" I grumble following her out the back door, fruit bowl in hand.
As she drove out our driveway I kept looking out the window shoving a green melon in my mouth. The beauty shown through the window captivating my attention. Once again we'd moved. Back in our old place, it would be winter. Technically it's summer, but since it's cold it feels like winter. Imagining the weather the weather when it's actually winter! But thank goodness here it's fall. Each leaf falling from their branch varying from red to yellow to brown.
The Sun barely making its way u the sky, like it, too, still wanted to a little more time to rest. The rays of the Sun casting orange and red hues across the sky adding effect to the scenery .
I unwillingly start to like this new town, almost forgetting that one person I had befriend. Key word there, almost.
Sighing I tell my mother to put on the radio, seeing as she doesn't let me touch her car.
After pressing some buttons, music starts to filtrate through the car speakers. A familiar melody blasting through the speakers. "So save me! From who I'm suppose to be!"
"That's my song!" I say to the car knowing my mom hated when I talked about them. "...part of the authority, I'll always be a part of the minority" I sing along with the lead singer, Luke hemmings.
He's said to be the hottest in the band, but Michael Clifford is cuter in my eyes. Michael is the image of punk, with his dyed hair changing every so often and he also plays the guitar. The other members being Ashton Irwin: the drummer who has an amazing voice, but won't sing much and the cutest laugh. And the last member being Calum Hood: the bassist and the one with the rip body. All of them making up the Australian band 5 Seconds Of Summer or 5sos for short.
"So why do you like them again?" My mom asks turning to look at me briefly before putting her attention back to the road.
"Other than the fact that their music is amazing, heading off to the punk era of the 90's; they're the reason I'm not mad at you for making us move again" I tell her sharply. Silence followsafter that. Clearing my throat I break the silence. "Anyways, where's Hector?" Hector is my annoying twin brother. He's always trying to tell me what to do just because he's older by 2 minutes.
"He drove himself to school"
"He what?! Oh never mind " I grumble. I 'm not really surprise because knowing him he did this on purpose.
