Maybe this is a bad idea, I turn to look at house on last time. My dad wasn't always abusive, he used to love me. He just didn't know how to deal after my mother died, What would he do without me? I take a deep breath and get into my jeep, no one will ever belive me if I open up about the abuse, no one expects rich people to have problems. My father is a cherished member of our community, cherished members of their community don't hit their children. I turn the key and shift the car into drive.
I knock on the door "hello?" a blond haired girl answers the door "I-" what should I say?! A brown haired guy appears at the door, I can tell right away he is my brother. He looks so much like my mum "Y/n?!" he asks "yeah" I say shyly, I fidget with my fingers "Come on in" he opens the door, I step into the house and look around, "Kiara! Pope! JJ! come down to the kitchen!" he turns to me "h-here" he pulls a seat out nervously, I sit as three teenagers enter "whats up Jb?" Jb clears his throat "this is my sister" he hesitates "y/n this is JJ, Pope, and Kiara" he turns "and this is Sarah. My girlfriend" "hi" I manage, they look at me shocked. Sarah is the only one who looks like she knew I exsisted "You have a sister?!!!!" Pope exclaims "twin" he corrects "holy shit" JJ speaks up, Sarah notices my discomfort and grabs my bag "i'll show you your room?" she offers, I nod and follow her "who are they?" I ask "the pouges" she says expecting me to now what that means "who?" I ask "Jb's friends, JJ's dad is abusive, Kiaras parents kicked her out, and Pope just kinda lives here?" she opens a door and puts my stuff down "I hope you don't mind sharing a room" she apoligizes "Pope and Kiara bunk together when he's here and Jb and I" she explains apolgetically, "its fine" I say "i'll let you get setttled" she smiles.
I flop onto the bed tiredly, I can hear the pouges arguing downstairs but i'm kinda used to it. I pull my phone out, 56 missed calls from Dad. Shit. I read the texts *where are you?* *you better come home right now you little shit* *send me your location* *WHERE ARE YOU* I block him and shut my phone off, no going back now i sigh.
