I walk down the stairs admiring the house, It wasnt much but it felt safe. I observed the pictures of JB and Mum, They looked so happy. I wonder how diffrent it would have been if Mum took Me instead of JB. "we can't just go to morroco" Pope says annoyedly "what if the crown is there??" JJ says "JJ's right we should at least try" Kie says, A floorboard creaks under my foot and I freeze, "Shit" did they hear that? "what was that?" JJ turned and spotted me "what are you doing?" he asks suspicously "I was just looking around" I reply, all the pouges look at me like im intruding "I'm going to go out, I'll be back later" I tell Jb "Okay, don't go to far" he replies "I wont"
I flash my fake ID and walk into the bar, "I've never seen you before" A tall guy with blond hair sits down next to me "yeah I'm visiting my brother" I reply slightly uncomfortable "whos your brother?" he asks "Jb Routledge" I answer "wait your brother is Jb?" he asks "yeah why?" he snorts "Because you are way to pretty to be a pouge" "excuse me?" I reply "whats your name?" he asks "Y/n" I reply, he holds out his hand "Topper, Topper Thornton" I shake his hand,
Its dark by the time I walk back to Jb's house, "where have you been?" Kie asks "Jb was worried sick" I look at her "I was at the beach" I lie "until dark??" she snaps "what were you even doing there?" she asks "leave it Kie" Jb says "I'm sorry" I say turning around, gosh he was worse about curfew than Dad was, way better about punishment atleast.
I open my door to find JJ on my bed "What are you doing" I ask annoyed "where were you actually" he asks "none of your business" I snap "fine don't tell me, but you dont want to get mixed up with the wrong type on this island" I snort "from the way things have been going it kinda seems like you guys aren't exactly the right type either" I turn around "where are you going?" he asks "I'm going to sleep on the couch" I snap back "suit yourself" he replies.
