Lan Wangji, the little fairy, had a big secret. He couldn't stop thinking about it. His time as a fairy was almost over. Soon, he would have to leave his bunny and go back to the spirit world where he belonged.

But he was worried about telling Wei Wúxiàn. Lan Wangji loved Wei Wúxiàn dearly and didn't know how to break the news to him.

For days, Lan Wangji thought about what to say and how to say it. He didn't want to hurt Wei Ying's feelings. But he knew he couldn't keep it a secret forever.

One warm spring evening, Lan Wangji and Wei Wúxiàn sat by their favorite stream. Lan Zhan decided to tell the truth

Lan Wangji looked at Wei Wúxiàn with a serious but peaceful face, but his eyes gave away the conflict in his heart. "Wei Ying, I need to tell you something," he said.

Wei Wúxiàn's ears perked up, sensing that Wangji's words were important. "What is it, Lan Zhan?" he asked.

Lan Wangji took a deep breath, looking at the setting sun. "My time as a fairy is almost over," he said. "Soon, I will go back to the spirit world where I belong."

Wei Wúxiàn's big brown eyes widened in shock as Lan Wangji's words hit him like a ton of carrots. "What do you mean you're leaving?" he squeaked, his voice trembling.

Lan Wangji explained that his time as a fairy was limited, and he had to return to the spirit world soon. But Wei Wúxiàn didn't want to hear it. He felt like his cozy little burrow was being destroyed.

"You're just going to leave me?" Wei Wúxiàn asked, his whiskers quivering. "After all our snuggles and adventures?"

Lan Wangji reached out a gentle hand, but Wei Wúxiàn nudged him away with his nose. "Don't touch me!" he said, his eyes welling up with tears. Lan Wangji tried to reason with him, but he was too hurt to listen.

"You're abandoning Me!" Wei Wúxiàn accused, his little body shaking with sobs. "You're leaving me all alone in the meadow!"

Lan Wangji's face was etched with sorrow. "Wei Ying, please understand-"

But Wei Wúxiàn didn't want to hear it. He turned and hopped away, his little paws wobbly with grief, leaving Lan Wangji alone by the stream.

He hopped away as fast as his little legs could carry him, tears streaming down his face. He didn't stop until he reached the safety of his cozy burrow, where he collapsed on his plush bed of soft grasses.

He curled up into a ball, wrapping his paws around his head, and let out a heart-wrenching sob. "Why does Lan Zhan have to leave me? Didn't he say he would stay by my side forever?" he cried, his tiny body shaking with grief. Then he remembered the little Fairy never said forever.. he said until the end of the time.. He cries harder.

Wei Wúxiàn hid himself in his burrow, refusing to come out. He didn't want to see Lan Zhan or anyone else. He just wanted to be alone with his sorrow.

As the hours passed, Wei Wúxiàn's sobs slowly subsided, replaced by sniffles and occasional hiccups. He lay in the darkness, his eyes puffy from crying, his heart heavy with sadness.

Lan Wangji came to the burrow, calling out in a gentle tone, "Wei Ying, My sweet bunny, please come out. We need to talk." But Wei Wúxiàn remained hidden, too hurt to face his little Fairy.

Lan Wangji carefully made his way into the burrow, his tiny wings glowing softly to light the way.

As he entered, he saw Wei Wúxiàn curled up in a ball, his little body shaking with quiet sobs. Lan Wangji's heart ached at the sight. He fluttered over to Wei Wúxiàn and gently settled beside him.

Without a word, Lan Wangji wrapped his arms around Wei Wúxiàn. He resisted at first, but Lan Wangji's gentle snuggles and cuddles eventually won him over. Wei Wúxiàn, still sniffling, looked down at his Fairy.

Lan Wangji wrapped his tiny arms around Wei Wúxiàn's paw, pulling it into a gentle hug. "Wei Ying, my dear bunny, please don't cry," he whispered, his voice full of concern.

Wei Wúxiàn couldn't resist Lan Zhan's adorable gestures. He smiled through his tears, his whiskers twitching. Lan Wangji stood up, his tiny wings fluttering, and showered Wei Wúxiàn's face with gentle kisses.

Wei Wúxiàn giggled, his sadness forgotten, and scooped up Lan Wangji in his paws. "You're so tiny, Lan Zhan," he said, his voice filled with wonder.

Lan Wangji smiled, his face radiant like a moon. "But my love for you is giant- sized, Wei Ying," he said, his tiny hands patting his soft fur.

He nuzzled his head into Lan Wangji's chest, feeling safe and loved. "How much time do we have left, Lan Zhan?" He whispered.

Lan Wangji's face clouded, and he whispered, "Five or six days, Wei Ying."

Wei Wúxiàn's heart ached, but he didn't want to waste a single moment. He wrapped his paws around Lan Wangji, holding him like a precious treasure.

"I won't let you go for a second," Wei Wúxiàn vowed, his voice trembling. "We'll spend every moment together."

Lan Wangji smiled, his tiny eyes shining with happiness. "I'd like that, Wei Ying."

As the moon climbed higher, Wei Wúxiàn and Lan Wangji cuddled together.

Wei Wúxiàn's paws cradled Lan Wangji's tiny form, holding him close as they fell asleep in each other's arms, surrounded by the soft glow of fireflies.
