With every step, the music grew louder, and his excitement grew. He was getting closer, and soon he would see the one who had captured his very soul. The thought filled him with joy, and he ran even faster, his spirit soaring.
As Wei Wúxiàn approached the source of the music, he slowed down. There, under a tree with radiant blossoms, was Lan Wangji, his beloved Lan Zhan, His Little Fairy. Lan Wangji was in his human form, more breathtakingly beautiful than ever, wearing his signature white, flowy robes.
Wei Wúxiàn stood at a distance, mesmerized by the sight of Lan Wangji playing the guqin. He didn't dare to approach, fearing that the enchanting melody would end, and unsure if Lan Zhan would still accept him in his human form. Lan Wangji didn't give him time to process his emotions. He rushed towards Wei Wúxiàn, his long strides reducing the distance between them. And then, he enveloped Wei Wúxiàn in a tight embrace, holding him as if he would never let go.
