You slowly opened your eyes, looking up at the most beautiful night sky you had ever seen. It didn't look like the one on Earth, and you wondered where you were. The wind fluttered around you providing the sensation as if it was alive. You started to try to sit up, but was stopped by a sudden sharp pain in your head that caused you to fall back down onto the soft grass. You tried to remember what had exactly happened after you blacked out, but came up with nothing. You lay there for a few minutes before realizing your clothing had changed. It was no longer a pink shirt and jeans, it was instead a f/c dress that was longer in the back than the front. It looked to be one of those dresses that fluttered around when the wind was blowing. You started to feel tired, and closed your eyes.

When you opened them again it was daytime, and you could faintly hear voices in the distance. You tried to sit up again, this time succeeding by rolling onto your side and pushing yourself into a sitting position.

Where am I?

Looking around, you realize that the scenery looked extremely familiar. The voices in the distance began to get closer. You wanted to try to hide but your head hurt so badly you could barely think straight. You brought one of your hands to your head and it came away slick with blood. You felt nauseous. Blood had never been your favorite, but now you felt an unreasonable disgust towards it. The voices came closer, and you could make out three different ones, all of them familiar.

That's impossible, I have no idea where I am

You felt yourself losing consciousness again, but before you blacked out, you saw a glimpse of the people the voices belonged to.

What you saw made you ecstatic with joy and hope, but also dumbfounded with the fact that these people should not be here, and what is happening to you is impossible. In your last second of consciousness, you hear one of them yell,

"Hey, there's a girl passed out! Hurry we have to get her to the-"

And you blacked out.

She keeps slipping in and out of consciousness

I'm worried for her, she looks like she's lost a lot of blood

If I can just get her back

Maybe she'll live

I'm running out of breath, but if I stop she won't make it

I'm not willing to take that risk

You were getting really tired of going from awake one minute to dead to the world the next. You still managed to force your eyes open. This time you find that you are lying on a bed, your head bandaged up. You only remember bits and pieces of how you got here. You remember being carried through the forest by a familiar figure, as he ran hard to get wherever you are now. You slowly lift your head to get a better look at your surroundings, and see a small room. You were sleeping on the bottom of a bunk bed, still in the same strange clothes you were in when you got here.

Where the heck am I?

You slowly sat up, finding that your head didn't hurt half as bad as it did when you got here. You shook your head slowly, trying to clear it. After a minute someone entered the room. You looked up and almost gasped in shock. It was a girl. She was wearing short shorts and a small tank top that was slightly worn from travel. She had goggles around her neck and a red bunny headband. There was no doubt. Somehow, outrider Amber from your beloved game Genshin Impact, had just entered the room.

"Oh thank the Archons! You're awake!"

She exclaimed.

"Does your head hurt? Do I need to get Barbara?"

She was obviously worried about you.

"No, I'm okay. Don't worry"

You reassured her.

She sighed in relief.

"I'm glad to hear it. Oh, by the way, my name is Amber."

You nod and try to stand up, but Amber was immediately at your side.

"No no no, You have to rest. You hit your head pretty hard there."

You sigh before reluctantly laying back down. Amber smiles at you and says:

"You stay here, I'm going to get Master Jean. She has a few questions for you."

You nod, mystified.

Amber walks out, leaving you to think about what just happened.

Was that really Amber?

If she is really going to get Master Jean of the Knights of Favonius?

If so....

Does that mean that I am IN Genshin Impact?

Before you can go further with your crazy theories, the woman herself walks in, with Amber not far behind.

"Hello traveler, my name is Master Jean. May I ask yours?"

"Y/n." You reply nervously.

Jean seems to sense your feelings, because she says,

"Don't be afraid, I am only here to help you."

You nod, still trying to wrap your head around the fact that these people are standing in front of you. Jean crouches next to you and turns to Amber.

"Amber, can you please bring Barbara? I think she might be able to heal them."

Amber nods and dashes out of the room.

Jean sighs and runs her fingers through her hair. She looks exhausted. The silence goes on, leaving you to finally realize how impossible your situation is right now. You have been acting so calm and unsurprised, even though it seems as though you have been teleported into a video game.  Amber eventually returns with Barbara, her voice snapping you out of your confused thoughts.

"-Jean thinks you can help"

Once Barbara walked in and saw the bandage on your head, she rushed over and activated her vision. When she did, you felt any pain that you had completely go away. She kept the hydro magic around you for a few more seconds before it disappears. You slowly rub your head and take off the bandage, shaking your head slowly to see if you felt any kind of pain. When you noticed nothing, you tried to stand up. Everyone in the room immediately jumped up to push you back down.

"You shouldn't be standing yet, rest for a little while longer."

"No No No, I just used my magic, don't go getting hurt again."

"I am taking care of you for now, so no getting out of this bed."

You sighed, defeated. You knew that this was probably how they'd react, but you wanted to try anyways. Barbara and Jean looked and each other and Jean used her anemo to make you sleepy, almost like a drug.

Before you blacked out again you hear Jean say,

"Rest now, if you get better, you will be able to leave."

Hearing her words made you more comfortable, as if knowing that you probably could leave whenever you wanted to once you got better brought your mind into peace. You closed your eyes before falling asleep for the third time since arriving in your game.
