Dear Diary, 06/03/10

Long time, no see. I'm sorry I quite forgot about you, to be honest. I just found you while tidying up my room and thought, why not give you an update.

This year, I got into KF3. It's really a great feeling, and the races are way more intense now, what doesn't really bother me too much.

I got in touch with some other driver named Pierre Gasly. He's a year older than me, but he seems to be a cool guy! We spent some time and talked about our experiences and why we got into racing. It's really great to have someone who speaks the same language as you, it's so hard to communicate with new people, especially when they speak english as their first language. I also met some other drives, for example, Alexander Albon and George Russell. I haven't talked to them so much yet, but I look forward to doing it. But on the other hand, there was quite weird dude as well, I think his name was Max Verstappen. I don't really remember but I think that what it was. He doesn't really that much. At least I never heard him talk, and he keeps wearing his helmet after a race. That's such a weird thing to do if you ask me. Usually the helmet is the first thing i wanna take off, it's so tight and uncomfortable and it's really in the way when you want to celebrate with your family, so I don't know why he does it.

And his father is Jos Verstappen! He was a Formula 1 driver, and he was basically best friends with Micheal Schumacher. I would be jealous if I were him, I mean, who doesn't want a father who is best friends with Micheal Schumacher! I bet he and Micheals' family went on vacation often, I wish I had that too..

By the way, I'm so proud of Jules. This year, he joined Formula 2! I'm hoping he will make it to Formula 1 as soon as possible. I really hope he'll give me good tips or else!

But jokes aside, I'm really thankful to have Jules because he's the reason why I'm still karting.. we're really running out of money right now and and the salon of my mother doesn't really help at all.. so I'm really thankful, I really owe him something.
But I'm also thankful for Lorenzo because he stopped karting just for my own career! But I also feel a bit bad.. I mean he stopped his dream job just for his brother but I'm really thankful and I'll try my best to make him proud but the same goes to my younger brother who also can't really race anymore.. but I really look forward to paying him the karting when I make my own money with Formula 4!

But my father went to the hospital last week.. my parents don't want to tell me why and what he has, it really makes me nervous, but my mom assures me that he's doing okay, so it's surely nothing too crazy.

But by the way there's a girl in my class, she's so cute and she's so funny! I really look toward asking her to watch one race of mine. Maybe she'll like it, or I can impress her with my speed! But really, she's so pretty and cool, and god, I could talk all day about her.
