~The Meeting~

    It was just another morning as usual, new mission and orders. As Clone Force 99, aka The Bad Batch were on their way to meet one of the Jedi Generals to see who will they be working with, Wreckers stomach grumbles and he sighs.

"I'm hungry! Why did we have to wake up at 5:30 in the morning??"

Tech looks up from his data pad and speaks up while putting his goggles up,

"Don't we always?"

Wrecker rolls his eyes and smacks Tech in the back a little.

"Shut up, you're always on your Datapad!"

Tech look at Wrecker with offense and speaks back. This was starting to become an argument.

"That is because i am checking on the Republic army's log that gives us our new missions and-"

"Shut up, Tech.."

Crosshair interrupts Tech, knowing if nobody stopped him in time he'll start rambling, as he flicks a toothpick at Tech. Tech looks at them with offense.

"Excuse me."

"Tech try not to ramble so much, it might hurt someones brain, your the only one with the smarts and we all know your "Definitely not playing Subway Surfers trying to get to 1 million" huh..?"

Hunter tells Tech that as they were walking up to the briefing room, they all know he plays Subway Surfers. Tech looks at them and rolls his eyes. He is annoyed.

"I am certainly not."

In the briefing room, Anakin and Obi-wan were talking to someone with their hood up, Anakin looks at the hooded person and speaks.

"Glad we can have you lead this mission, i know how you care about the war going on,"

Obi-wan smiles and agrees with Anakin as he looks at the hooded person too. Speaking in an apologetic manner,

"My old friend it has been a while since your Master had died 5 years ago, I know that he was like a father to you..."

"I know Obi-wan, thanks for the apology but i'm doing fine now! Meditating really helped me through it and i'm glad that i'm here today!"

The hooded person speaks back to Obi-wan, voice booming and with a smile on their face. Anakin and Obi-wan smile back and Anakin laughs at the person.

"I see that you still have that fire in you, i remember everyone calling you little 炎 when i was Obi-wan's Padawan. Say Adara, you still a bit deaf right?

I laugh at Anakin and I put my Hood down, my Orange and red mixed eyes illuminating above the lights of the holo table, I smiled and say.

"Ah.. i see you remembered! You were so small but look at you now! You're one inch taller than me!"

Anakin, Obi-wan and I start laughing together while talking about the past we had, once we hear the slide doors open we stopped laughing and i turn my head to the sound to see... The Bad Batch. With their helmets tucked under their left arms as they spot me, once i meet their gaze and smile.

"So you must be Clone Force 99! Pleasure to meet you! I am Adara Lumen, the person you will be working with for the mission."

"Yes, i'm Sergeant Hunter, the leader of The Bad Batch. This is Tech, Wrecker, and Crosshair. Nice to meet you General." Hunter smiles.

"Oh no need for formalities, i'm not really a general, just selected by the council, i work to help the next generation of Jedi Knights..!"
I smiled back and wave a hand for no need.

"If you help work raising the next Gen for the Jedi that means you're helping raise a baby army!"
Wrecker laughs as he speaks.

"I like your enthusiasm but i don't think the younglings are weapons or anything, and i don't think that you guys are just expendable weapons, you have life and feelings, i respect that!"
I reply giving a compliment.

The clones stayed quiet for a bit and thought about it, a few seconds later they smiled, even Crosshair slightly smiled. Nobody has ever thought of that of the clones other than Plo Koon of the 104th Battalion.

"Wow..."
Wrecker blinks twice, thinking again of what i said.

"Thank you, sir..."
Hunter nods and smiles of my comment, giving me a smile.

Later Anakin talks to us about the plan, our mission is to go and help a Star Venator class and give protection, the journey will be long and hard due to the ship being far in space in the outer rim, Anakin also says that he will be giving me half of his battalion just in case, as me and the bad batch take the journey there will be a tracker in me as we go to the other half of the battalion will find us and jump into hyperspace. And in case we bump into a separatist cruiser Anakin gave me a com link to signal him for emergency's Only.

Obi-wan also tells us that we might have to go incognito sometimes, and if you feel something suspicious immediately do something the enemy something or someone wont expect. Obi-wan also gave us extra credits for fuel and supplies along the way since the journey is long.

Right now i was walking with the bad batch and i was in awe of their ship. The Havoc Marauder...

"Oh my! What a ship!"

"This is an Omicron-cross attack shuttle, our home base, gun ship and one of the-"
Tech gets interrupted by Wrecker.

"The Havoc Marauder! Isn't she a beauty?"
He speaks with pride.

"I am impressed, it certainly does speak 'Defective and Effective'."
I comment.

"Thank you General,"
Hunter nods in appreciation.

"We never had this much compliments..."
Crosshair says in a cold tone.

"Well i think you all might be getting lots from me!"
I reply whole heartedly.

"Aww thanks General!"
Wrecker reply's.

"Now shall we head on with the mission, General?"
Hunter asks me as the others go up the ramp.

I look at him with a smile and nod,
"Let's go, and please Hunter, no need to call me General.."

"Sure thing... General.."
He smiled as he went up into the ship with me.

The long journey has begun...
