"Doing great babe. Keep goin." Peter said, watching her ride Yankee. He watched her keep her head up, with a smile as she rode Yankee around the pen. Making him smile and chuckle softly, once she had it come to a stop with Yankee.
Peter looked up at her, as she stopped Yankee right in front of him. Allowing him to grab Yankees bridle, along with pulling it gently while clicking his tongue. "How'd I do?" He heard Shauna ask him, causing him to smile as he lead her back to the stables.
"You did good sweetheart. Real good. You definitely were pretty calm, for someone who's never rode a horse before." Peter said, as he lead her to Yankees stall, next to scarlets stall.
Whom was banging at the gate wanting out of her stall, she wanted her turn and this was a normal reaction especially when she wanted out. "Maybe it's because I have such a good teacher." She said, causing him to chuckle softly again almost laughing this time. "Could be, but you've always told me that you've been reaching horses for years. I guess it's paid off darling. Accept now it's my turn, to take you on a little trail ride."
Peter was going to take her on a ride with Scarlet. He helped her get off Yankee and get his saddle, and bridle off him. Before putting her back into his stall, getting the bridal and saddle ready for scarlet. "Sweetheart I would you close the gate behind me. Other wise she'll bolt." Shauna made a oh face, before closing the door behind him.
Watching Scarlet get up on her hind legs acting all crazy. "Woah. Easy girl easy. It's just me." Shauna stood there, watching Peter try and calm the horse down. "It's jut me scarlet. Shh. It's okay, it's okay." She watched Peter calmly speak to the horse, gently trying to calm her down with he eventually was able to do. Along with slipping the saddle and the bridle, she was amazed though at how well Peter could handle a crazy horse like that.
"There you go. Good girl." Peter said, as he got scarlet calmed down and geared up for a ride. He soon had Shauna open the gate, before walking out with scarlet while holding onto her bridle by the side of it. "Before you ask, I've had a lot of practice with horses like this over the years. And no it's not easy, but it works every time." Peter said, as he pulled the part to hold onto while riding. (Since I forgot what it's called.). "Care for a ride ma'am?" He asked, as he hopped onto scarlets back giving Shauna his hand.
Watching her smile, as he helped her onto scarlets back. Feeling scarlet get a little bit uneasy neighing, not used to the weight of two people. "Easy girl." Peter said, as he got her onto the saddle. "Alright sweetheart, just hold onto me. Tightly. Because she does bolt." He said, before clicking his tongue feeling scarlet neighing as she bolted out the stable. He heard Shauna let out a surprised shriek, as scarlet bolted. Along with her arms tightening around his waist, as the horse bolted out into the forest. He laughed softly, as he felt her grip tighten around his waist.
