"Hey, Y/N." Thorin says, coming up to you as you walk the gardens. You smile and look at him. "Hello." You greet. He walks next to you. You roll your lips. "What are you doing out here?" You ask. "I can't walk my own gardens...?" He asks, looking at you, a smile toying at his lips. You give him a look while grinning. "No, no, you can. It's just that I've never seen you walk the gardens." You state. "You've been keeping tabs on that?" Thorin asks, raising his eyebrows. You blush and look away. "Well... no." You lie. He laughs softly. "It's okay, Y/N. You're very observant and right. I never walk the gardens." He claims. You look at him suspiciously. "Then why now?" You ask. He shrugs. "It's a beautiful day." He replies. You look up at the gathering storm clouds in the sky and hear the slight rumble of thunder. "It's about to storm..." You state slowly. "All the reason why it's a beautiful day." Thorin says, smiling. You return his smile just as rain starts to fall hard. You spot the small shed up ahead and look to Thorin. "We can probably make a run for it and not get entirely soaked." You wager. "Probably." He agrees. Your hair quickly gets drenched. "Then let's go." You say, grinning. As you start to run off, Thorin grabs your hand and forces you to stop. You turn and look back at him confusedly. "What's wrong?" You ask. Thorin takes a quick step forward, his mouth open slightly. He cups the sides of your head in his hands and before a thought can race across your head, Thorin kisses you deeply. As first you are taken over by shock, and then in the next moment, you become immersed in the love and passion coming from Thorin. You rest your hands on his hips, not even caring about the rain that drenches you both. Thorin pulls back slightly, breathing heavily. "Forgive me, Y/N. I don't know what came over me." He breathes against your lips. "I don't know either, but whatever it is, I don't want it to stop." You whisper, your forehead against his. Thorin tilts your head up and kisses you passionately. You wrap your arms around him just as thunder rumbles loudly. You shudder and Thorin pulls you tightly against him.
