His Redemption

*He watches you silently for what seems like hours, he feels like he could sit here forever just taking in your beauty and the pure relief that he's finally separated from Ramona. He's so tired though, his eyes keep closing and before long the weight of exhaustion over takes him. Scott slowly drifts off, curled up in a ball in the chair next to you*

*Scott sleeps peacefully for several hours, finally comfortable. After hours of rest he starts to shift around and wake up quietly*

S: "Mmmm..."

*Scott sits up and stretches, he looks over at you and smiles when he sees you asleep but his smile slowly fades as he sees the hospital equipment beeping softly to keep you alive*

*Scott's anxiety spikes when he realizes just how sick you are. He reaches out and takes your hand, feeling how cold it is and how clammy your skin feels. He feels upset again that you're going through so much while he sits there unscathed*

Winter has deep fever.

*Scott looks at you with concern and notices now that your cheeks are looking flushed*

*he puts the back of his hand on your forehead and realizes you feel hot to the touch*

S: "Oh no, you've got a fever!"

*Scott jumps up and goes searching around your room for something to help you. He finds a cool rag but it seems to be dry, he quickly wets it from the tap and comes back to your bedside. He wipes your forehead and tries to cool you down*

*your fever seems to be getting worse, you can hear your heart monitor beating faster*

*Scott starts to panic*

S: "Nurse!! Nurse!! Come quick something's wrong!"

*a nurse hurries into the room and looks startled*

N: "What's the situation?"

S: "Her fever seems to be getting out of control! She's burning up!"

*the nurse nods and checks you over with her scanner and some other tools*

*she frowns and looks at the readings on the heart monitor*

N: "I've never seen a fever this bad before..."

S: "What are the readings?? Is it bad???"

N: "She's got a 103.4 degree fever. I've never seen a reading that high before.."

*Scott pales drastically and the color seems to leave his face*

S: "That's.... That's bad right??? Aren't fevers dangerous if they're too high??"

*Scott looks desperate and he starts to shake while his mind goes to the worst possible outcomes*

N: "Yes that's quite high. We're doing all we can but the medication we're giving her isn't bringing her fever down. We might need to start taking more extreme measures."

*Scott starts to look visibly sick at the thought of losing you*

But nurse finally discovered something horrible was someone injected some poison in her IV.

*Scott looks at the nurse and his jaw drops*

S: "What??? Someone did this on purpose??"

*the nurse nodded gravely*

N: "When we were checking the IV we noticed some discoloration in it. It seems someone mixed something into her drip...."

*Scott goes deathly pale and his eyes look hollow, then his expression quickly changes to one of pure rage*
