His Redemption

Chapter 4

Scott made a decision to break up with Ramona for good.

*Scott stands outside smoking his cigarettes and tries to calm down*

*he feels his guilt for treating Winter so badly, he knows Ramona is a toxic person and was partly at fault for him using you to get back her*

*Scott throws down the cigarette and puts it out with his toe*

*Scott grabs out his cellphone and calls Ramona*

*Ramona picks up the phone and sounds annoyed*

R: "Hello? It's late why are you calling me?"

*Scott holds the phone tightly*

S: "Listen Ramona, I know I've put you through a lot but I think you're a bad influence on me. Maybe we should break up."

R: "What- are you serious?? You're dumping me?"

*she starts getting agitated*

S: "Yes, I'm being serious. I feel like when we're together we get the worst out of each other."

R: "What? The worst? I thought you loved me! I'm the best thing to happen to you!"

*her voice starts to get loud and frantic*

S: "Well, maybe some part of me loved you but I can do a whole lot better. Especially when you sent that nasty message to Winter"

*Scott's voice stays eerily level, he sounds calmer than he feels but the edge in his voice is apparent*

His words cause Ramona to sweat nervously.

*Ramona's expression turns to anger and then panic*

R: "It's not my fault she's weak."

*Scott grips his phone tighter and grits his teeth*

S: "What did you say..?"

R: "I said she's weak, she's pathetic for being all depressed and trying to kill herself over you"

*there's a hint of cruelty in her voice and it makes Scott's blood boil*

S: "YOU WILL NOT TALK ABOUT HER LIKE THAT! YOU DO NOT KNOW HER!!"

*Scott's yells and Ramona's expression switches to shock and panic*

R: "Scott... i-i-I'm sorry"

S: "You're sorry? You're sorry? You've done too much damage to Winter. You're a horrible person! I can't believe I was ever with you"

*Scott can feel his adrenaline rushing, Ramona is speechless*

R: "Scott please, I'm sorry for everything I did. Give me another chance!!"

S: "How many chances could I give you? You don't care about how your actions hurt other people as long as you get what you want"

R: "That's not true! Scott I love you.. I can be a better person"

S: "But does your love come with conditions? Do you love me for me? Or for what I could do for you."

R: "I...I..."

*Ramona looks like she's about have a breakdown, her eyes tearing up*

S: "That's what I thought, You're just like all the rest. You don't actually care, you just want to have people like pawns in some kind of game. You need help. I've got to go"

R: "Scott noooooo!"

S: "Goodbye Ramona."

*Scott hung up the phone and breathes heavily*

*he leans up again the wall and slumps down*

S: "God... that was harder than i thought..."

*he runs his fingers through his hair and groans while breathing deeply*

Scott felt much free from Ramona.

*Scott sighs deeply and leans his head back up against the wall and laughs to himself*

S: "I can't believe it.. it's finally over"

*his mind starts to race with a hundred different things to think about but he just smiles as he sits there*

"I wonder if Winter's awake?"

*Scott stands up and walks inside to check on you*

*Scott steps back into your room and sees you still sleeping. He smiles to himself and sits on the chair next to your bed. He's still a little shaky from the conversation with Ramona but feels so much lighter now*

Scott caress on my long light blonde hair gently.

*Scott softly caresses your hair and admires you silently, hoping you'll wake up soon. He feels so happy he finally broke things off with Ramona and is happy to finally be at your side*
