Izuku stopped as he spotted Katsuki on his way to school. "Morning, Kacchan."
Katsuki jolted, pulling out one of his earbuds. "Izuku." Katsuki paused. "Why aren't you changed?"
"I haven't finished my run."
Katsuki gave Izuku a disbelieving look. "Get your ass home, get changed and go to school." Izuku huffed, crossing his arms. "Go."
"I'm going." Izuku ran off as Katsuki shook his head.
"Fucking idiot."
~~~
Izuku was bored. The teacher was discussing 'realistic job opportunities' with their class, telling a number of children that 'streamer' and 'influencer' weren't that likely unless they were already working at it.
"Why the hell are we listening to this?" Katsuki tapped his fingers, a pissed look on his face.
The teacher turned his attention to Katsuki. "Oh right, you're applying to UA right, Bakugo?"
The class erupted in whispers. "The sports academy?"
"Are sports even still relevant?"
"Does he even do a sport? I just thought he was a murderer in the making."
Katsuki's very thin patience snapped. "Will you fuckers shut up!"
Izuku chuckled to himself, leaning against his arm. "As surprising as it is, Kacchan actually does do a sport."
Katsuki gave Izuku a warning look as Izuku continued to smirk.
"Right, Midoriya, you're applying to UA too," the teacher commented as Izuku nodded.
"Of course. UA is the home of Japanese gymnastics. I would be a fool to not try and get in there. Though, unlike my friend, I do have backup plans."
Katsuki screamed. "Shut up Izuku! No other school is anywhere as good and I will get in!"
"Right right. I hope you have a job to go to when you can't get into a school."
Katsuki jumped up. "That's it!" He reached out to grab Izuku but Izuku flipped out the way.
"They're doing it again," one of the students complained as Katsuki tried to fight Izuku who just kept avoiding him.
"Both of you settle down right this instance!" The teacher slammed his hands down but it did little.
~~~
Izuku and Katsuki sat outside the principal's office. "I hope you're fucking happy," Katsuki grumbled as Izuku laughed.
"Totally worth it." He grinned as Katsuki sighed tiredly.
~~~
Izuku and Katsuki walked to UA together. Katsuki was holding his 'totally not containing a gun' case, complete with all five locks, over his shoulder while Izuku walked over with his gym bag.
"I still can't believe they're making us take a general knowledge test."
Katsuki gave Izuku a look. "You're the third best in our year."
"I can still complain while getting good grades. I'm not you." Izuku ducked under Katsuki's attempt to whack him, rushing forward. "You gotta be faster than that," he sang when his foot got caught on a rock in front of him.
He fell forward, sticking out his hands and flipping over, bouncing as he got back on his feet. Katsuki was laughing at him. "Look where you're going, nerd."
Izuku huffed, pushing Katsuki away. "Let's just get inside." As they walked away they missed the other students staring at the spot they had been with the same 'what the fuck' expression on their faces.
