Izuku was running through the halls, a deep frown on his face as he stopped. "Okay, I'm lost." He sighed, leaning against the wall as he picked up his phone and called Katsuki.

"Izuku."

"Katsuki."

There was an awkward pause. "I'm not getting you."

"But I'm lost."

"So."

"Wow, Kacchan, such a bad friend. Maybe I should call Auntie Mitsuki and tell her about her son, the gun-wielding bully."

Katsuki let out a long-suffering sigh. "Tell me what classroom you're by."

Izuku glanced up. "It says training room 6a."

There was a pause. "How the hell did you get there?! That's the other side of the campus." Katsuki swore as he started running, much to Izuku's amusement. He stayed put, sliding to the floor as he waited.

"Hey, what's a kid doing here?" A girl with blue hair hopped forward, giving Izuku an odd look.

"Hi."

The girl chuckled to herself. "Hi."

"Hello," her blond friend screamed, waving his hand brightly. "What brings you here?"

"I got lost," Izuku laughed as the girl chuckled.

"It is a big school. It took Tamaki years to get around safely." The girl looked at their last friend, who avoided their gaze, and the blond chuckled, too.

"He still hasn't got the hang of it. Need help finding your classroom?"

"Nope. I have a friend coming to pick me up." Izuku grinned when he stood up, listening to the rush of footsteps coming from around the corner. "Here he is now. Hi Kacchan."

Katsuki glared at Izuku, panting as he stopped in front of him. The second he caught his breath, he grabbed Izuku and started running away. "No time. We're going to be late, and it's all your fault!"

Katsuki dragged Izuku around endless turns and corridors, seeing the sign for their classroom as he turned. He was about to charge in when he dug his heels into the ground, barely avoiding the collision with the teacher standing before them.

"And you're late," the man grumbled as Katsuki wheezed, trying to get something out but falling to the ground in exhaustion.

Izuku stood in front of him with a smile. "Sorry, we got lost. You're Aizawa, right? The trampoliner. I'm Midoriya. It'll be a pleasure to be in your class."

Aizawa looked over at Izuku before scoffing. "Get yourself a map."

"Will do." Izuku turned, grabbing Katsuki's leg and dragging him into the classroom. He dumped the boy next to his seat before sitting down himself.

"This is why I hate traditional sports," Katsuki grumbled between breaths as the class continued around him.

~~~
"You guys were lucky Aizawa-sensei was so cool. I thought he was about to expel you," a boy with red hair and sharp teeth muttered as he got changed.
Izuku smiled. "Nah, I could have argued my way out of it."
Katsuki went to whack Izuku as he ducked down, causing Katsuki to hit his hand on the locker. Izuku grinned, laughing as Katsuki glared at him.
"I'm Izuku, by the way. That's Katsuki."
The other member smiled. "Kirishima. This is Sero and Kaminari."
~~~

The students stood outside, watching Aizawa as he talked. "Modern athletes tend to specialise. You practise your sport and only your sport. This is an incorrect method of training. Improving your strength throughout your body will ultimately improve your skills in your sport. For that purpose, Bakugo, throw this ball."

Bakugo took a deep breath, taking the ball as he wound up, throwing it as far as he could. Aizawa held up his phone as Izuku burst out laughing. "The curse of the nonathletic sport."

On the screen, Bakugo received the score, '32.7 metres', around the throw of an 8-year-old. "Shut up, Deku," Katsuki screamed as he pushed Izuku away, only making Izuku laugh harder.

The class grew excited, whispering to each other.

"If you think this is all fun and games your sorely mistaken. Person who comes in last gets expelled."

The conversations stopped, and the air grew cold. Izuku leaned his arm on Katsuki. "Oh, at least you can say you got into UA for a day. Should I say my goodbye now?"

"Shut up."

~~~
First was the 50m dash. They went in pairs and ran as fast as they could. Oddly, Bakugo wasn't the only person struggling. There was a guy with blond hair and a short girl with brown hair who both struggled to complete the run at any decent time.
The next race started, and a guy with blue hair charged down the straight, speeding past the finish. "6.12. A new personal best."
"So, I'm guessing he's a sprinter," Izuku muttered as Kaminari and Kirishima nodded.
~~~

Katsuki was glad to take on the grip strength test. He wasn't amazing; he was nothing like Sato, the deadlift. Shoji, the Hammer Thrower, or Uraraka, the discus thrower, but was proudly in the middle of the pack.

Izuku still beat him and was still laughing.

~~~
The standing long jump was full of short distances. No one was good but there were definitely a few who were bad. The girl who had struggled in the run, Hagakure, barely made any distance while a somehow even shorter guy with purple hair fell flat on his face.
Then they moved onto the side steps. Katsuki hated the side steps. Izuku wasn't a fan, but Katsuki hated it.
"I think that teacher hates me," Katsuki panted as he collapsed, much to Izuku's amusement.
"No, I wonder why."
~~~

They went back to the ball throw, meaning Katsuki got to try and recover while the rest threw the ball as far as they could. Unsurprisingly, the three who specialise in throwing sports, Uraraka, Sero and Shoji, got the furthest.

Hagakure looked at the ball before she went to Aizawa. "Do I have to throw it?"

"Yes."

"No, I mean, can I hit it."

Aizawa gave her a confused look, trying to figure out how, in any way, that would be more efficient. "Do whatever you want."

Hagakure grinned. "Great." She put the ball on the floor before disappearing. When she returned, she had a golf club in her hand. She lined up, hitting it further than anyone else.

"No fair, she got to use a tool," Kaminari complained as Aizawa stared at the girl.

"What? You said I could hit it."

~~~
The next event no one liked. Well almost no one liked. After Hagakure's golf club incident, he made it very clear that they couldn't use their bikes, skateboards and skates to complete in the long distance run leaving only two people doing well.
Yaoyorozu, a triathlon athlete, who particularly likes the running portion and Koda, an equestrian, who, when he heard the list of excluded tolls did not include his horse, Haiden, ran the entire thing with his horse.
Aizawa was not pleased.
~~~

The seated toe touch made Izuku very proud as he easily won, showing off his extraordinary flexibility. The tiny man with purple hair was a surprisingly close second and a boy with half red and half white hair came third. Katsuki was proud of not being bad enough to be noticed.

The sit-ups were just torture, especially as the last event of the day.

When it was all over, Katsuki, Aoyama and Kaminari were all terrified, waiting for the results. Hagakure and Koda felt safer with their first and second-place wins, but the rest didn't have that luxury.

Aizawa projected the results. Aoyama came last. He fell to the floor, shaking in horror until Aizawa smiled. "It was just a ruse." The class was not pleased this time.
