After that night, me and Draco haven't really spoken but he hasn't really been mean either, well not too much at least. We didn't have any moments just the two of us. Maybe it was for the best. I just hanged out with him and the guys a few times but its' not that deep. They just asked me to tag along whenever they got together after classes.
The first task of the Triwizarding tournament was in three days. Hermione and Ron asked me to go cheer for Harry with them and of course I agreed.
Me and Hermione separated ways once the classes were over and I headed at the girls dormitory to get changed because the trio asked me to join them at Hogsmeade later. On my way I bumped into someone.
"Hey you okay there?" The student that I bumped into asked as I looked up. It was Cedric Diggory. One of the chosen champions to compete in the tournament.
"Yes, I'm sorry. I wasn't looking where I was going." I nodded as I apologised.
"Not a problem at all. In fact, I wouldn't mind you bumping into me more often. Aurora Morningstar, right? The new student."
"Yes, in the flesh." I giggled. Why did I giggle at that comment?
"I'm Cedric. Cedric Diggory. It's nice to meet you Aurora." he introduced.
"Nice to meet you too, Cedric. Oh, Harry was looking for you. He found out what the first task of the tournament is and wished to tell you. If you don't have any plans, you can tag along with us at Hogsmeade later, so he can tell you about it. " I offered.
"That's great. Meet you here in half an hour?" He asked.
"Of course! See you, Diggory." I said in a kinda joking manner and headed for the dormitory once again.
Once I was in my room, I took off my robes and went in for a quick and refreshing shower. I then applied my body lotions and oils, and put on simple make up on. I wore a grey tight cropped long-sleeve shirt and white bottom sweaters.
I headed out of the dormitory and entered the Slytherin common room with my necklace in hand when I saw the Slytherin boys do the same. Matteo whistled while looking me up and down and asked "Damn, who have you dolled up for, princess?"
"Are you going on a date with Diggory?" Theordore asked curiously.
I felt Draco's gaze trailing up and down my body, examining my every feature, since he hasn't seen me out of my school robes. I gulped when our eyes met. We looked at each other a little too long to be 'just friends'. You ever just look at somebody and it's like your soul aches to touch them?
"Yeah, since when do you hang out with him?" Regulus followed with another question, pulling me out of thoughts.
"I'm not going on a date. Me and the trio are going to Hogsmeade and I asked Cedric to joins us because Harry wanted to talk to him about the first task of the tournament. Now don't feel jealous guys. I'll be back in two hours or so and I'll hang with you after this. Okay?" I gave an aswer to their curiosity as I was putting my earrings on.
