When Nandini heard about her release date being postponed, she relaxed, knowing she was not abandoned by Mukesh. Manik also saw her getting relaxed after knowing Mukesh did not abandon her.

Manik is curious to know about Nandini's story from prison, including what made her go to prison and what made her so silent. Nandini is now in bed, and Mukesh is consoling her, seeing her mood as always.

Cabir, seeing the moody atmosphere, wanted to make it happy, so he thought to make the introductions to Nandini.

"Hi Nandini," said Cabir, and Nandini slowly saw his face in Madhu's embrace and smiled lightly, seeing his joker-like face, and this smile was enough to make Manik Lattu smile again. He suddenly gained peace after seeing Nandini's smile, even though it was not very visible.

"So Nandini, myself cabir. Everyone is still in the mood to be silent. I thought to take the initiative to introduce everyone to you." and then he introduced everyone to Nandini. Everyone smiled when they were introduced, and even Nandini smiled a bit, still staying in Madhu's embrace.

Manik and Manish [Madhu's husband] noticed and are happy for both of them. Manish knew what Madhu went through when she learned that she couldn't be a mother.

While everyone was getting introduced, Alia excused herself as she received a call from her best friend. After talking to her, she saw someone entering from the main door, and seeing the person, she instantly ran towards him and hugged him tightly, shouting "kittu."

Hearing her, everyone rushed outside while Cabir stayed inside with Nandini making her smile to him while Manik also stayed at a corner as he know who was back outside.

It's Karthik Malhotra, the son of Raj's younger brother and Kiran's elder brother. He is late to the vacations of the Malhotra family as he is studying for his event management, and when someone offered him an internship, he grabbed the opportunity for his future needs.

While everyone met Karthik, when he asked for Manik, Madhu and Manjuma excitedly explained the situation of Nandini and how Manik was being lattu behind her. Alia's jumping excitement traits are from her mother alone.

Nandini slowly slept, having medicine effects that the doctor gave her. After she slept, Manik and Cabir came outside the room, slowly closing the door.

When Cabir and Manik returned to the hall, everyone was present, waiting for him with teasing smiles again, ready to tease him. Seeing the situation, Manik thought to escape, and Mukesh.

"Mukesh uncle, I want to know about Nandini. I mean, how do you know her?" asked Manik, to which everyone's mind also got drawn to the main topic, and everyone turned towards Mukesh.

Mukesh sighed and started explaining to them how he met Nandini.

Flashback

Nandini was brought to prison for the murder, which she hasn't done. Everyone can see the innocence in her eyes, but they thought not to go on the face, as now a days everyone has two faces where no one can recognize them.

When Nandini was brought to the prison after a year, Mukesh was also posted there as a police officer, where he would stay only for a year.

Nandini already suffered a lot in prison, where the real rowdy girls, or, we can say, the cunning ladies, made her suffer and do a lot of work. She is always silent and always obeys everyone without ignoring them. As a minor, she is so afraid of them hurting her.

She silently took all their curses and slaps where there would be no mistake of hers. When Mukesh was posted there, he was on a security check when, one day, while checking, he saw Nandini. By seeing her face, he can clearly recognize that she is the victim, not a murderer, but he cannot do anything as court orders are already confirmed.

Daily, he started checking stroll from that day, only to check up on Nandini as he could see that she was innocent and anyone might harm her. He used to see new wounds on her daily, and whenever he asked her, she would always stay silent, so he could not do anything to punish the people who were hurting her.

Nandini used to always stay silent, and whenever he asked her name, she did not reply to him, which made Mukesh call her "bujji." Though he can check the register for her name, he felt like calling her like that.

Flashback ends

"Every day I used to check on her, but she always stayed silent, and not once did she complain about her wounds. There are many wounds on her body, like even cigarette wounds. And that is when I banned cigarettes in that prison, but still, someone used to supply someone, and always Bujji used to have new wounds," said Mukesh crying.

"There are no cameras around the prison, even to check what is going on with her. Everything was going on like this, but she used to have some peace whenever I used to come and check on her. She always felt lonely. There are no visits from her family, not even once.".

"But one day when I was not around the prison and went outside for some personal work, that was the only mistake I made, as it broke her completely, which made her more NUMB," said Mukesh, and now Manik is afraid to hear what made her like this.

"What happened, uncle?" asked Alia sadly.

" She was about to get RAPED" said Mukesh which made everyone shock. Alia and Madhu started crying, while Manik's eyes were red from stopping himself to cry.
