Rin had been missing for the past couple of days. Everyone gave long glares at the two they thought were the reason she was out. Knowing everything from the nurses office, I knew it couldn't be because of a little beat down.

Looking at Rin's face, I knew she was strong. People acted like I wasn't there. Where in my old school, people would actually bully me. I started to roll into a trail of thought. When all of a sudden Kaito popped into mind. That's right I does know Rin well. At least I think they are good friends.

I decided not to go talk to him about Rin because he might end up shipping us or something. I instead walk to the infirmary. I pull back the door to see Nurse Meiko drinking.

"Ummm...Ms.Meiko?" A long silence took over the room.

"Oh..Hey Len. Why are you here?" The feeling of guilt washed over me.

"I guess I came here at the wrong time." I respond.

"Well I got a good feeling about you, so it's fine. Come in." She explains, motioning me to come over.

I sit on an empty stool. Placing my hands in my lap, I started to have a bad feeling about coming here.

"So why are you here?" She asked again.

"Well I wanted to ask about Rin..." I started, trailing off at the end.

"And why is that?" She seemed intrigued by the bring up of Rin.

"She hasn't been at school lately so I was wondering if I should be worried or not." I spill out the whole reason.

"And what makes you think I know?" She seemed to be testing me.

"Well you seem close to her, and when you told Rin about how you trade, she seemed to worry about the way you handle it." I started to remember how she traded. Now that I realized there was a sack on the counter. Her clothes where messily put on. And her hair wasn't patted down.

"So I'm guessing you know that I just traded..." Her sharpness dropped. She gave me a soft smile.

"Drinking.." I say flatly.

"What?" I realized I was thinking out loud.

"That's your attempt to cover up everything they did to you, to forget the unforgettable, drinking." Everything seemed to slip out of my mouth naturally. She gave me an astonished look.

"No one ever understood the reason I drank...until now." Her eyes were filled with mixed emotions. Happiness and sadness.

"In return I'll tell you why she is probably not here." All of her emotions washed away. She became stern.

"Her dad is always drunk. So that some times leads to abuse. When that happens, she falls deeper into her depression. She will not come back until her wounds heal. Both the physical and mental ones." Panic started to fill inside me.

"But calm down. She is used to this. So whatever you do, do not go to her house." She shot it to me as a warning that I will get hurt if I went. But even with that, I can't just say no. She already got beat up for me. Now it's my turn.

"Can you give me the address so I can avoid it." She gave it a thought until she agreed.

"Fine." She got a pen and paper and wrote it down.

Looking down at the paper, I realized that she was a few houses away. I look up to see Nurse Meiko, looking horrified at what was infront of her. She held her phone directly in front of her face.

"What is it?" I was beyond curious.

"Rin's injuries are being treated at the hospital....."
