"Ava, take a twenty minute break." My manager shouted across the shop.
"Thanks Lucy." I grinned back, although being a floor model wasn't stressful, Hollister was a popular shop so I was on my feet almost constantly.
I passed my staff card through the door to let me into the small side-room.
"Coffee?" I asked Lucy, returning with my purse.
"Tea Ava, one day you'll get it right." She laughed, shaking her head lightly.
"Never!" I shot back, walking from the shop and making my way to a small coffee outlet that was hardly ever busy.
It was at the other end of the complex so I plugged my iPod in to entertain myself on the ten minute walk.
Lisa likes brandy and the way it hits her lips...
I grinned as Noah and the Whale began to play, triggering a reaction to hum along as I dodged between people, my eyes closing as I reached the chorus.
Before the tune could finish I opened my eyes to see five boys stood in front of me, they weren't paying attention and we met with a thud. Before I knew it I had lost my balance and was lying on the floor, five faces surrounding my vision.
"Alright love?" The curly haired boy asked.
"Yeah, sorry. I er wasn't paying attention." I groaned, their faces oddly familiar.
"We noticed." The one with a buzz cut laughed.
"Thanks." I shot back, folding my arms in annoyance.
"Aww, need a hand?" The one with a brown quiff asked loudly as I made the connection between them and a poster in my flat mates room.
"Please." I blushed as five hands were offered, I took the closest one and hauled myself upright, brushing a little dust off my jeans.
"Hi." I greeted. "Ava Fletcher." I added, extending a hand.
"Harry Styles." The curly boy replied.
"Liam Payne." Said the one with a shaved head.
"Louis Tomlinson." The loud boy shouted.
"Zayn Malik." The darker one that had helped me up muttered.
"Niall Horan." The final boy said in a thick Irish accent.
"Nice, uh, walking into you." I giggled. "I need to get back to work soon but you're welcome to join me for coffee, or tea. If you like." I offered with a blush.
The boys all exchanged a shocked look before simultaneously nodding.
"Nowhere too busy though...." Harry began to say before I cut him off.
"Shush curly I don't live under a rock, you're one direction I know, but you're also human so I don't see why you need special attention." I said, laughing as Niall raised an eyebrow in confusion.
"That's unexpected." Zayn laughed as they followed me.
"If I was famous I'd want to be treated normally, it must be annoying to be shouted at constantly." I shrugged and continued to walk.
"Someone talks sense! I thought I was going deaf once." Louis grumbled, throwing an arm around me.
"Aye, Ava, what's your job then?" Niall grinned, bouncing up to walk next to me after a silent moment.
"Floor model in Hollister." I replied, watching in amusement as Harry gave Louis a piggy back.
"Sounds....exhausting." Zayn commented, pausing to find the rights words.
