Joong and Pond were now standing in front of the restaurant where Joong have a date with his soon to be husband
Pond sighed and tilted his head to his right looking at Joong and asked
"Once again why am I going to this date in place of you "

Joong looked at Pond with a pleading face 🥺
"Come on you are my only friend that I trust and you know it... It is hard for me to face him after what I did ,I- I just can't"

Pond patted his back
"I know that you are afraid but one day you have to face him right and it's not your fault that happened in the past you didn't do it intentionally sigh ok leave it don't stress About hmm "
Joong nodded his head and pushed him inside the restaurant

Pond's POV

I went inside the vip room that was arranged for the date he was sitting with his back against me but I was confused for a moment if I entered the wrong room because as far as I remember that guy had broad shoulders and he was tall but the person sitting in front of me had a small frame , I called out to him

My eyes went wide for a while but I composed myself greeting him and he greeted me back I sat in front of him before starting the conversation we ordered some food as the waiter went away I asked him
"Who are you , you are not Dunk"

His eyes went wide at that , he laughed a little nervously
"Wh-what are you talking about, I- I am Dunk I have never made any public appearances so how can you say that I am not Dunk"

"I attended the same university as Dunk I know what he looks like" I said raising my eyebrow
He visibly gulped ,he licked his dry lips and opened his mouth to something but couldn't cute

"Hey it's ok don't be scared I am not mad at you little one" I said softly looking at him , he lowered his gaze the moment his doe eyes clashed with mine a pink hue tinted his cheeks

"I am sorry actually Dunk doesn't like these date or relationship things he just agreed because of father so he basically blackmailed me giving his puppy eyes and said that I am his best friend and know about a lot better and can judge if the partner is great or not childish right but what can I - "

my lips curled up in a smile without permission He stopped in the middle of his talking his face flushed with embarassment he once again lowered his fidgeting with his finger and said sorry for babbling a cute pout forming his lips
Fuck you are making me loose control baby

"It's ok you don't have to embarrassed about it I would rather say you look adorable talking like that " I said the last sentence in a whisper only for me to listen
"Umm actually to tell you the truth I am not Joong also I am his friend Pond Naravit , I have the same situation as you but my friend have different reasons" I said forwarding my hand towards him he looked shocked at first but shaked my hand with his soft and small hands

"I am phuwin "
I nodded and smiled at that and asked him to start eating
I started a conversation not make things akward he was still a little stiff but gradually became more comfortable I was happy as the conversation flowed easily and naturally between us

After paying up for the dinner we moved outside the restaurant I asked him if I can drop him to his house but he politely refused saying he didn't want to trouble me I just smile at him and caressed his fluffy hair
"You are not troubling me with anything little one anyways go home safely ok"

He smiled wide not a nervous one but genuine one for a second I could see him leaning against my hands his eyes seemed unfocused but he regained himself closing his eyes for a moment and hurriedly went from there saying he had some work

I reached my condo only to find Joong pacing around in the living room as soon as I entered he bombarded me with questions I told him to calm down and sat there with him telling him about what happened there

He chuckled sadly tears rolling down his face
"So he doesn't even want to see me now great h-he probably hates me now and maybe he is going to say no "
I hugged him
"Don't say that I don't think he hates you no one can hate someone like you and he didn't even know that it was you he didn't see the details, he doesn't even know the reason you left "
He didn't said anything and just cried
