I was stunned not expecting him to kiss my cheeks I came back to my senses because of the sound of the phone I opened it only to find a text from Joong 'Good night 😘' a wide grin made its way to my face
Flashback
This flashback is a continuation of the same one from the previous chapter but in Dunk's POV
I didn't expect Joong to really consider what I said and start staring at me I could feel my cheeks warming up and his gaze with that smirk wasn't helping at all
We reached our destination and Joong looked at the surrounding at first then looked at me with a bored look "Seriously you are taking me on a date here in the park with all the people and children going around "
I smiled a bit at his reaction but then smirked and inched a little closer to him "Well the weather is very good today so I thought we can sit somewhere open in fresh air just sitting and forget about the assignment for sometime but if you wanted to be alone with me you could have told me kitten I would have booked a vip room in a restaurant " I said the last sentence wishpering in his ears
He jerked back a little scowling at me "Who said I want to be alone with you and you want me to relax here " A chuckle rumbled through my throat, I pulled him with me without saying anything

I looked at Joong "So is this place good for the date "
"Hmm it's okay" he said and walked ahead taking a seat I smiled at his futile try to refuse that he liked it ,but his face betrayed him with the small smile and the sparkling eyes
I sat beside him looking at his relaxed face his eyes closed the light of evening setting sun giving him a different glow his lips tugged in a satisfactory smile
"If you want to say something say it you look like a creep" he said his still closed I shook my head and replied "I do want to say something but you're so beautiful that you made me forget my pickup line" He looked at me with a done look and said "cliché"
Despite his initial irritation and aggression towards me conversation between us flowed easily without him making an sarcastic comment I was happy that he was opening up with me though he was still a bit guarded but I knew I was close to breaking the last few walls he have built around himself
The silent but peaceful atmosphere got interrupted by the ringing of Joong's the call was from his father his expression changed when he picked the call , he didn't say anything just listened to his father and lastly said a quite yes and sighed
I have noticed him whenever he talks with his father his expression is unreadable and giving only the curt answer I concluded that his relationship with his father was not on good terms
He looked at me "Umm my dad called me he .... I have to go home some urgent work came" he said some hesitation in his voice and stood up "That's ok come I will drop you home" I said standing up as well
"No no actually dad already sent the driver here so...." He said not meeting my eyes I cupped his right cheek moving his face towards me "You are right you can tell me if anything is bothering you " I said a little worried
He closed his eyes with a soft sigh leaning on my hand but then removed my hand and gave me a small smile and a nod and spread his hands tilting his head a little "Can I get a hug" A chuckle escaped from my lips still worried but nonetheless I hugged but the next thing he did shocked me

He kissed my cheeks and again hugged me tight before releasing 3D me and smiled at me and went away leaving me there

A series of other memories flashed inside my mind but the smile faltered at a particular moment tears welling up my eyes
