Chapter 2

Riley pov: ( 5 years old)

Mother and father always told me that meeting new people was a good thing. I, however don't like meeting new people. I prefer to spend my time alone. Why would I want to make friends with other kids who are mean, dirty, rude and are going to make a mess of all my thing?
The kids in Belgravia are spoilt, self-entitled and noisy. Being only 5 years old, I enjoy my personal time. Majority of the time, I am playing with my dolls or reading.

Now Let me tell you, a little about myself.....

I, Riley Geovani, am the heir to the Geovani Industry. I know!! A girl as a heir to a well-known family business. Father always wanted a boy as his first born child however he got a baby girl. The family business has always been passed down to the first born child of each generation. The first born child has always been a boy however times have changed. Over the last 4 generations, the family business has been passed down to the sons of the family however I broke the cycle. I will be the first girl to inherit the family business.

At the age of 4, father enrolled me in a private school for the 'young and gifted' is what they call it. The school is meant to train you in business and financial management from a young age. So compared to other kids my age, who are learning their basic math. I was learning to invest my pocket money in my family business.
On the brightside, I will be equipped with the necessary business skills to run the Geovani industry when I turn 18 years of age.

Father has always pushed me to try new things. The hidden life lesson being, to have no regrets in life from a young age. He stated if I try something new and I don't enjoy it then I can quit. But I can not give up on something without trying it first.
That being said......
Having all this pressure at a young age which includes the expectations of being the heir to Geovani Industry. For most people, it's to much for them to handle however it's my birthright to carry this responsibility.
