Coincidence ☆ Gyuricky ff

After school, Gyuvin walked out the gates of BaseOne High, on his way back home. Yujin sneaked up behind Gyuvin and scared him.

"Yujin! Don't scare me!" Gyuvin says as he covers his heart.

"Hehe, sorry!"

"Whatever.. Want to go get tteokbokki?"

"I would... But my parents signed me up for hagwon all of a sudden..." Yujin pouts.

"Ah... It's fine then! Go on Yujin," Gyuvin says as he signals his hand for him to go.

Yujin waves goodbye and trudges his feet on the way to hagwon.

Gyuvin sighs and walks to the small tteokbokki restaurant near his school. He eats the lowest level of spicy tteokbokki with fish cake next to the window. He stares out to the street, eating alone and zoned out.

Suddenly someone stands in front of the window and knocks on the glass gently, capturing Gyuvin's attention.
It was Ricky. He mouthed the words "Is it yummy?"

Gyuvin's shock on his face was evident, as his mouth was literally an O shape and he looked like he had seen a ghost. Ricky was just smiling through the window. Gyuvin suddenly got up ran as fast as he can away from the restaurant.

"Sir, your..." The restaurant owner said, but Gyuvin was already long gone. "Bill..." the owner finished. He had vanished at the speed of light.

Ricky watched as Gyuvin ran farther and farther, until he wasn't in sight. 'Am I scary?'

"Are you his friend?" the restaurant owner suddenly came out and asked.

"Uh- Yea kinda."

"Great! Can you pay his food bill then?"

"I guess..?" Ricky responds as he gets out his credit card to pay.

...

Gyuvin just ran. He didn't know where he was going, but he just ran. Running to get away from Ricky. 'Wait. Why am I running away from him? He didn't do anything' Gyuvin slowed his pace to walking. 'Where am I now...' He looks around for street signs but can't find any. 'Stupid Gyuvin. Obviously there would be no street signs.. I'm in a goddamn alleyway! He opens his phone map to try and get home, but there was no signal. Gyuvin decides to trace back his steps.

He made it out of the alleyway, but was greeted by Ricky standing in front of him... Again. "Ahah!- Heyy.. Ricky!" Gyuvin said, trying to act as if he did not just run away from Ricky.

"Why'd you run away from me? Also, you didnt pay your bill for the tteokbokki so I had to pay it.

'Seriously... I'm indebted to Ricky now...'

"I'll pay you back... How much?"

"Don't pay me back with money. Pay me back with your time."

"W-what? Are you crazy?"

"No, I'm Ricky. Tell me why you ran from me."

"Oh I ran because... Uh... Something came up!"

"Yea sure... Tell me when you're free so you can pay me back. I get impatient by the way."

...

By the time Gyuvin gets home, it's already 6pm. He immediately throws himself on the couch and groans at the thought of having to hang out with Ricky. Gyuvin had wanted to become close with Ricky a week ago, but now he is unsure of his feelings whenever he is with Ricky.

To distract his mind, he goes on to his computer to talk with youngrichbaby.

Gyuvin frowns since there is no response. 'Makes sense.. Everyone has a life! Except for me...' Gyuvin decides to wash up and knock out for the night. 'youngrichbaby will probably respond by tomorrow.'

Tomorrow morning

Gyuvin notices Hanbin walking in front of him to school.

"Hanbin!" Gyuvin yells for him.

Hanbin looks back and sees Gyuvin. "Oh hey."

Gyuvin had promised to not tell anyone about Hanbin's crush and try to help set him and Hao together.

'Right I have to hang out with Ricky... What if I invited Hanbin along and told him to bring Zhang Hao? This can help them get closer and I would pay back Ricky. You're so smart Gyuvin.'

"Are you free after school?" Gyuvin asked while walking beside Hanbin.

"Yea-"

"Great! Lets go watch a movie after school! I heard theres an upcoming movie that's really good!" Gyuvin enthusiastically said, but he lied through his teeth about the good movie. "Invite whoever you want, but preferably Zhang Hao. Wink Wink"

Hanbin got the idea immediately. "Yea I'll ask him if he is free."

At class

Gyuvin sits at his desk, waiting for Ricky to arrive to launch his amazing plan.

Shortly later, Ricky arrives at the classroom and walks to his desk to set his bag down.

"Ricky, are you free after school? I am."

"Yea. Do you want to pay me back today?"

Gyuvin nods his head. "Let's go see a movie!"

"Okay."

Ricky leaves the classroom. 'Gee.. Why is he so serious?'

"Are you friends with him?" Taerae suddenly asks.

"Oh hey Taerae! When did you get here? I'm not friends with Ricky. I'm just kind of.. indebted to him..."

"I got here a long time ago. But you're indebted..?"

"Yea... Long story."
