RED ROOM

The Pop-Up
I was at home, bored and tired. I started to cook dinner and sat down on the couch to eat it, my brother, Akio, walked out of his room, holding an empty glass bottle of sake (rice wine). "AKIO! AGAIN?!" I shouted, he looked at me and threw a notebook at me. "Shut up! You don't know me!" He shouted back. I roll my eyes and continue to eat as I watch Tv on the couch, my brother swung open the fridge and snatched out another bottle of sake, then slammed the fridge door shut and stormed to his room. I hated him, he always drank sake all day and stayed in his room, playing video games on his computer. He was a streamer who was very problematic, he still had subscribers and viewers. After 10 minutes, I heard his voice say "What kind of notification is this?!" And tap aggressively on his computer. I knocked on the door and he screamed at me. I stayed at the door, hearing his frantic tapping on his computer keyboard. I then heard blood curdling screams and swung open his bedroom door, he was lying on the floor, lifelessly, the walls of his room turned red, even though the paint on his walls were grey. I screamed as I realized that the red liquid on the walls wasn't paint. I walked over to his computer and the viewers were going crazy, I turned off the stream and called the police immediately, the police found nothing.

A Realization
Two weeks later, I watched the footage of his stream, he was playing a game but a pop-up was on his screen. The pop-up was red with black writing that said "Do you like-?" He was trying to click out of the pop-up but the full sentence of the pop-up appeared. The pop-up then said "Do you like the red room?" And my brother died. I cried as I realized that this wasn't the only time this happened, my friend, Keiko, had gotten the pop up on her screen too. She died also. My brother and best friend have been killed by this awful curse..
