HACHISHAKUSAMA

A Normal Visit.. or not.?
I was visiting my grandparents for the summer with my mom and my brother, my brother and I were just getting used to being in the guest bedroom while my mother was in her old bedroom from her childhood. My little brother was playing with his toys on the floor while I read a  book on my bed. My mom came in and looked at the both of us "You two need to go outside and get some sunlight!" She ordered. We walked outside and sat down, I watched the clouds and basked in the sun while my brother catched bugs with a net and put them in a jar with sticks and leaves. I heard a faint "Po.. po.. po.." coming from behind the rose hedges. I got up and noticed a white sun hat moving above the rose hedges. I followed the sun hat as it moved, still hearing the faint but low voices. I noticed a hole in the hedges so I took a look, a lady with pale skin, a long dress, and she was the one saying "Po" and wearing the sun hat. She looked about 8 feet tall and her eyes were sharp. I ran away and grabbed my brother's hand and brought him back inside.

A Realization
I ran to my mom, who was chopping onions at the counter. "Mom, I found a 8 foot tall lady outside!" I exclaimed. My mother became wide eyed and so did my grandparents, we quickly ate dinner and then my mother took me into my room. "Don't open the door until sunrise." My grandmother instructed. I nodded my head and so did my brother. We covered the windows with Talisman and locked the door.
At 3AM, I was reading to pass the time while my brother was sleeping. I heard a voice behind the door say "Come out, it's safe!" It's sounded just like my grandfather, but I refused to open the door. It's not her. I knew it's not her.

The Morning and Years Later
It finally became sunrise and we packed our bags, then got in the car and left the area. We never came back, we knew it wasn't safe. When I became 21, I got a call from my brother. It's wasn't him. All I heard over the line was "Po.. po.. po.."
