The following day, Joe Biden and Donald Trump sat together in a private room at the White House. The statement had been finalized, and they were ready to address the public. Despite their differences and the unusual circumstances, they both knew it was necessary to face the world together.

"Are you ready for this?" Joe asked, adjusting his tie.

Donald nodded, his face set in determination. "Let's get this over with."

They made their way to the press briefing room, where a crowd of journalists and cameras awaited them. The room buzzed with anticipation, everyone eager to hear what they had to say.

As they stepped up to the podium, the room fell silent. Joe took a deep breath and began to speak.

"Good afternoon, everyone. Last night, a private moment between Donald and me became very public. We are both here to address this matter and to ask for your understanding and respect as we navigate this personal issue."

Donald continued, "Our focus remains on serving the American people. We ask that you give us the privacy we need to handle this situation personally."

Just as they were about to leave the podium, a commotion at the back of the room drew everyone's attention. The doors swung open, and in walked G-Man, the mysterious figure from the Half-Life video game series, holding a leash. At the other end of the leash was Gordon Freeman, the silent protagonist of the games, who was being led like a dog.

The room erupted in gasps and murmurs as G-Man made his way to the front, his eerie presence sending chills through the crowd. Joe and Donald exchanged bewildered glances, unsure of what to make of the bizarre spectacle.

G-Man stopped in front of them, his expression unreadable. "Gentlemen," he said in his unsettling, monotone voice, "I bring you a message."

Donald raised an eyebrow. "And what message is that?"

G-Man looked directly at them, his eyes seeming to pierce through their very souls. "In the grand scheme of things, your actions last night were... interesting. But remember, every action has consequences."

With that cryptic statement, G-Man turned and led Gordon Freeman out of the room, leaving the press and the two leaders in stunned silence.

Joe shook his head, trying to regain his composure. "Well, that was... unexpected."

Donald nodded, still staring after the retreating figures. "To say the least."

The journalists, momentarily distracted by the strange encounter, quickly refocused on Joe and Donald, bombarding them with questions.

"Mr. President, does this mean your relationship is official?"

"How will this affect your policies going forward?"

"Do you have any comment on the appearance of G-Man and Gordon Freeman?"

Joe raised his hand, signaling for silence. "We understand that you have many questions, and we will address them in due time. For now, we ask for your patience and understanding as we handle this matter privately."

Donald added, "Our priority remains the well-being of this country. Thank you."

With that, they left the podium, ignoring the continued barrage of questions. Back in the private room, they both collapsed into chairs, trying to process the events of the last twenty-four hours.

"Did that really just happen?" Joe asked, rubbing his temples.

"Apparently," Donald replied, still looking dazed. "Who was that guy?"

"No idea," Joe admitted. "But let's focus on handling our situation first. We can deal with the rest later."

Donald nodded, his resolve returning. "Agreed. We'll get through this together."
