CHAPTER 3: Italy

*same day*
22nd March 2023

we landed in Italy the same day.
at 4pm to be exact, it takes around a hour to get from the airport to the training grounds near where they're staying.

we were driven their by a chauffeur who bukayo had sorted out for the girls and i, as well as a couple of members of my team who were in a separate car following us.

Chicago and Zion slept for a hour and half on the jet, the first half was them saying how excited they were to see 'uncwl kayo and john stones'

i don't know why they're excited to see john!
see what i mean, they have a knew favourite every week, especially zion.

he's probably watches some videos and come across john again and decided he's obsessed with him this week.
crazy crazy child.

zion is still asleep in the car, he just wouldn't wake up on the jet. he must've been so tired, they had a early morning this morning.

"zion" i whispered shaking his little leg "wake up baby you won't sleep tonight" i told him and he stirred in his sleep

"uncwl kayo??" he rubbed his eyes and i chuckled "we aren't there yet" i said gently "we will be soon, just wake up baby" i stroke his head.
who birthed this lad?! me or bukayo. damn. he cares more about bukayo than me!
i laughed to myself and shake my head.

"mummy will jude be there?" i hear being asked from the other side of me
i turned to look at my daughter "yeah he will be" i nodded and she smiled brightly

she is a jude girl for sure. she adores him so much. their bond is adorable.
i bet you when i meet up with the guys she makes it to jude before anyone else, she will literally scope him out first. but she probably won't need to do that, he'll be waiting for her more than likely.
he loves chicago.
when he goes on to having kids at some point in his life he'll be such a good father, i think he's definitely meant to be a girl dad. he's just so good with chicago, he's really good with zion too but the rest of the guys hog zion.
jude always says she doesn't get enough attention from the guys now, so he sits and colours with her.

it's absolutely adorable.

"good" she said as she played with her cargo pants

"why is it good?" i smiled softly as i played with her braids
"because he's nice mummy" she smiled up at me, eyes twinkling
"he is very nice" i nod agreeing with her making her smile more

"i'm hungwwwyyyy" zion groans making me laugh and look at him

"we're having food when we get to uncle kayo" i said to him softly

"okaaaayyy mummy" she smiled up at me and my heart melted.
he's literally the only man i'll ever need. him and bukayo are the only men i'll ever need. literally.

chicago and zion sit in near silence until we reach the grounds.
luckily i had already previously packed and my stuff was boarded onto the jet this morning so i didn't have to go home and collect everything then head to the airport.

music was playing from our car, ironically i had A Whole New World playing, chicago and zion love this song, even more so because their mummy sings it with zayn.

we park up and i jump out the car unbuckling chicago from her seat first and lifting her out

"UNCWL KAYOOOOO" i heard her gasp excitedly and i heard her feet stomp against the ground as she ran while i got zion out of his seat.

i held him in my arms and shut the door behind us, while thanking the chauffeur.

i turn to see some of the guys heading towards us, they must've been on the pitch training.
