Louis' pov December 24th 2014
It was Christmas eve, also my birthday (yay!) it was around noon when we decided that we wanted to go to the mall, to buy the last few Christmas presents. Anne gave Harry a 100 dollars to buy presents with and Harry also promised me a birthday surprise later tonight.
He ended up spending it all. He bought some baby clothes for his baby cousin, who was going to be there on Christmas. We then continued that way down the mall and he bought a present for everyone in his family.
That night we were going to see the Christmas lights around the neighbourhood.
We went with Harry's cousin Bridgette, her daughter Maddy and Anne, when we got there it was raining like crazy, so we stayed in the car for a few minutes before we ran towards the house. The house was quite big, but the garden was bigger and it had all these beautiful lights.
Harry and I walked around alone while Anne and Bridgette walked together showing Maddy all those lights. There was Winnie the Pooh, Teletubbies, Jesus, the Lion King statues which were all decorated in lights. It was really cool.
The whole time we were there we walked alone. Talking, taking pictures of all the lights. At some points I even saw Harry looking at me, like he wanted to do something but I was probably just imagining it.
I came to terms with myself towards Harry. I think I like him. The whole night I really wanted to kiss him. He just looked so cute, looking at the lights and the way the lights would illuminate his beautiful face. Everything about the night was perfect, even the drizzle made it better.
But I wasn't going to do anything without knowing he would reciprocate. The last thing I wanted to do was make it awkward. That would be mortifying.
We got back to Harry's around 7, and Harry told me to get into something nice, because he was going to take me out to dinner. I couldn't stop smiling all the way there, he's just so thoughtful.
We pulled into a place called 'Olive Garden' and I've never heard of it before but it looked really fancy and I was wondering how Harry was going to pay after he spent all his money on gifts. He seemed to read my mind because he instantly said,
"Don't worry, I've been saving for this night. I want to give you the best birthday ever." He smiled, taking my hand and leading us to the restaurant.
When we walked in a nice waitress asked how many was in our party, "Two," Harry said and she nodded, leading us to our table. She seemed to notice we were on a date because she seated us alone in the back, it was perfect already.
Our waitress, with the name of Maria came to our table with a bowl of breadsticks and took our drinks.
I ordered a coke and Harry ordered a lemonade and we tried the breadsticks. Harry told me that the bread was just about the best part of the restaurant because they were really that good.
I agree, they were really fucking good.
We ordered our meals, Harry ordered his usual and I tried something I've never even heard of before. The dinner was amazing, the night was great. It was definitely the best birthday ever.
"Thank you Haz, this was really such a nice dinner I had so much fun."
"Aw, babe." He says, winking at me. "The night isn't over yet."
I was about to ask what else he had in store for me but he told me not to, so I waited.

December 25th 2014The next day was Christmas. As soon as I opened my eyes I started smiling. Today was going to be awesome. I couldn't wait to experience an American Christmas, and it was so weird to think that just last year Harry and I were sending our first letters to each other for Christmas.
I looked at him, he was still sleeping but he looked so cute, so peaceful. Oh, the times have changed so much. I can barely keep up. It's still so surreal that I'm here, with him right now.
He started moving around a bit, opening his eyes and said "Merry Christmas boor bear " I smiled, he's so cute. I replied "Merry Christmas baby cakes" which caused his cheeks to turn crimson. Aw.
After laying in bed for 5 more minutes, doing nothing because we're lazy, we got up. We opened a few presents for each other in the morning, but we weren't going to open all of them because we waited for Harry's aunt Lauren, her husband Jesse and their kids to get here.
---
When we were opening presents I got kind of surprised on how much I actually got, I thought I was only going to get around two presents but I got around seven presents.
I got along with his family very well, Lauren's kids were really cute, I was never a fan of kids, but these kids were really cute and fun. And the food was really good too.
For the rest of the day we hung out in the living room with everyone, we cuddled on the couch and we played some games, like Heads Up and a few card games. I taught them a new game that I learned from my dad. Harry and Jesse loved the game and we played that game a lot. After a few hours the kids were sleeping and we headed into Harry's room. I put some music on while Harry had a little notebook, he wrote something in it and handed it to me, it said "I wanna kiss you, oops hi"
I then said "Kiss me, then" but Harry just blushed and said "But what if you don't like it or want it or yo.." I cut him off by kissing him.
