Louis pov. December 20th 2014

Time could not have gone by slower.

I had just landed in Boston, and this airport wouldn't let me connect to any Wi-Fi until I was at baggage claim. I couldn't believe I was in the same building as Harry, and if I knew Harry at all (I did) he was worrying about why I haven't messaged him yet.

Harry has anxiety and so he worries a lot and I already knew he was nervous so I couldn't imagine how much he worrying at the moment.

When I finally got to baggage claim I immediately connected to Wi-Fi and messaged Harry.

"I landed, I'm waiting for my bags, see you soon.xx"

He read it almost immediately and replied, "OMG, Lou. I've been so worried. I'm waiting right at the International Gate so when you come out I'll see you right away."

I read it and smiled, still waiting at baggage claim. I messages back "Yaaas baby. I'll see you very soon. love you."

A few minutes later my suitcase finally came out, so I grabbed it and made my way to the gate.

As soon as I walked out I saw so many people. I didn't know where to go until I heard my name from the front of the gate. I looked up and I immediately saw a head of curls looking at me. Oh my god, it was him. Finally. I couldn't believe that I was actually in American for the first time, alone, to meet someone I hadn't met before.

I ran to him and hugged him as hard as I could. I couldn't believe this moment was finally here. It still felt so surreal. When we pulled away we looked at each other. That's when I noticed everyone looking at us and also that his mum was recording us.

I started laughing and so did he. Harry and I walked outside while his mum went to pay for parking. It wasn't that awkward but neither of us knew what to say, we just kept staring at each other. Both thinking holy shit holy shit is this real.

He spoke first, "Are you cold? You should put your jacket on, it is December in Boston."

I giggled, really noticing his American accent. He smiled at me and we both started laughing again. "Yeah, I'm a little chilly." I said and winked at him. I just realized how cold it actually was, so I put my jacket on.

His mum came out then, and Harry and I followed her to the car. The ride from the airport in Boston was about an hour from his house so we both sat in the backseat talking. It was already not awkward. It just felt normal.

We played all our music from the aux and took pictures of each other for memories of us just meeting.

"How does it feel to finally come to America?" Harry asked at one point.

"Fecking awesome, but it seems the same. Except the language I hear from everyone is obviously different so it's going to be hard to not accidentally talk Danish." I say and him and his mum both laughed.

"Louis, I'm really excited for you to finally come to America, and that you and Harry have finally met. This is all Harry can talk about. 'Mom! Louis gets here in 50 days, 32 days, and every day the past we-' "MOM" Harry interrupted her, with the most red cheeks, and I just couldn't stop laughing. I looked at him and smiled, and he gave me a weak smile back.

When we got to Harry's house, we went to his room and I opened my suitcase. It all seemed so normal.

We were talking like we hung out every day and nothing was weird at all. I was so excited to finally be with him. That I was spending Christmas and New Years with him, in America. It was surreal. I couldn't hold back how happy I was.

I walked up to him and we hugged again and it seemed different. Closer now that we were together, alone. When we pulled away a few moments later and I noticed the height difference. He was 16 and I was 18 and he was taller. How did that work? He looked down a little bit to me and he giggled at me, noticing too.

"Lou, I'm so happy you're finally here!" He shouted, "I want to do everything, like eat out with you and celebrate the holiday's and we can cuddle too, wait is that weird to you? We don't have to nevermind. Well, not nevermind if you'd be into tha-"

"Woah, Haz! Breathe. Take it one step at a time, I mean at least buy me dinner first," I said and winked. I was almost positive I saw him blush but I chose to ignore it.

Later that night, we had gone to the grocery store to buy some of our favourite candy and snacks. We put all the candy in a bowl and called it our "Bowl of diabetes". I was really starting to feel comfortable.

It was such a fun night. Until Tom.
