Logan Johnson was by the grill grilling burgers. His wife Jessica was but the picnic table talking to the new neighbors. The Blacks. They had a son that was 7 years old named Jace. His mom, May and dad, Jason moved into the house next to the Johnsons and were having a picnic to get to know each other.

Amber was swinging on the swing set when 7 year old Jace walked over.

"Hi, do you want to play?" The little boy asked.

"No, you're a boy." She shook her head.

"And you're girl but I still want to play with you." He told her.

"But you have cooties." She glared.

"Well I want to play so suck it up." He glared back.

Jace walked behind her and started to push her.

"Wee! Wee! Higher!" Amber chanted.

So Jace pushed her higher and higher. Amber was having to much fun to realize that her grip was loosening. Before she knew it she slipped and landed on her butt and wrists.

"Ow." Tears were brimming in Amber's eyes.

"Oh my gosh! Are you OK?" Jace rushed over to her and knelt beside her.

"It hurts." Amber said.

"What hurts?" Jace looked frantically at her.

"My wrist, I used it to break my fall." She sniffled.

Jace held her wrist in his hands then kissed them.

"Better?" He questioned. Jace had barely known the girl a day, but he didn't want to see her hurt or sad.

Amber nodded but still sniffled, so Jace pulled Amber into a hug. He rubbed up and down her back.

Over by the grill the parents looked at there kids.

"Aww look at that." Mrs. Black smiled at the two kids hugging.

"They look like they belong together." Mrs. Johnson said.

"What if they grow up and have a family together!!" Mrs. Black added on. That comment alone got an awe from Mrs. Johnson and groans from their husbands.
