The corridor of the Vault under Beacon was so dark a normal person wouldn't be able to see their hand in front of their face, the darkness was suddenly broken as flashes of green and orange flared overhead before the room was plunged back into darkness before the green and orange would flash again in a different part before disappearing again then popping back up in another part of the room.

The two forces clash again revealing Cinder and Ozpin as the two cross weapons. Cinder and Ozpin split again only to clash once more before Ozpin thrust The Long Memory into Cinder's chest sending her back before she slammed her hand down onto the floor causing it to turn to glass before she waved her arms and causing glass shards to be sent flying towards the Older headmaster who moves faster then Y/N as he seems to just phase through the shards before he charges the newly crowned maiden as he delivers multiple quick thrusts into Cinders abdomen with the final strike launching her back into the air. Cinder throws her arms out as the image of a fiery phoenix stops her dead in her tracks. Ozpin slams his cane onto the ground as a sphere forms around him before Cinder levels her arm with him and begins charging an attack. Ozpin drops the sphere and leaps to close the distance before Cinder unleashes the attack Ozpin forms the sphere again before a blinding light fills the Vault.

In the mess hall, a bloody but determined Y/N stands opposite an arrogant Adam. The wound in Y/N's abdomen continues to bleed but Y/N's stance doesn't falter. Adam doesn't enter a stance but he does continue to monologue and berate the Wolf Faunus.

Adam: You think these Humans care about you? You think she cares about you it's all a lie! They saw some piece of Faunus Debris and used you and you let them!

Adam charges at Y/N before swinging for his neck hoping to end the fight quickly but Y/N sluggishly dodges out of the way. 

Adam: You'll need to be faster than that but seeing as you aren't healing I will have to guess your aura is broken so you can't use your Semblance. 

Y/N: I don't need it to beat you.

Adam: We'll see about that. 

Y/N and Adam enter stances again. Y/N's eyes flash green before they seem to flicker and he drops to his knees and coughs up blood.

Adam: You disappoint me, Lupus. You can't even stand and face me how are you meant to protect them if you can't protect yourself?

Adam begins walking towards Y/N with his sword out dragging it along the ground causing sparks every so often. But from Y/N's point of view, all he saw was the ground and his own blood, this was it, this was the end Y/N hung his head lower until a familiar set of combat boots entered his vision. Y/N lifts his head expecting to see Adam but all he sees is a younger version of himself. The Younger Y/N has chains coming from his wrists and isn't wearing his jacket but he does have a full version of the White Fang Mask on.

Adam: It looks like Sam really did a number on you but I am going to make what he did look like a light scratch. 

Adam now stands in front of Y/N as he raises his blade but Y/N just looks at him until his eyes flash green then red as lightning comes from his sockets. Adam plunges Wilt down towards Y/N but the hurt Wolf Faunus is nowhere to be seen as the blade just sinks into the ground. Adam just sighs and turns around while removing the blade to find Y/N standing behind him with a low growl coming from him.

Adam: Ah Lupus. It seems you haven't grown soft. That's good. It will mean more when I kill you.
