ELARA'S POV:

I was shocked to say the least. I've been shocked since last night. I didn't think I would see him again after the few days had passed by; I was actually feeling relief that I wouldn't just because of the strong feeling the other gave me, even though I've never even talked to him in my life.

Thankfully, though, today I'd have something to get that mystery man off my mind. I had a little date inside the castle planned with Prince Vincent today. I definitely wasn't excited for it, knowing the man wasn't that interesting, but it was better than wolling away in my own thoughts about someone I don't even know. I got up from my bed after at least 30 minutes of just being lost in my thoughts while laying there in my towel, which I often did a lot and wouldn't continue to do but I had to get ready.

I walked over to my closet, finding a perfect light blue dress. I'm not sure if it was clear enough, but blue was my favorite color, and most of my wardrobe was that color. The dress was a simple long satin dress; it was strapless and had silver buttery designs going down the dress. I quickly put on the dress once I checked the time, realizing I only had about 10 minutes until I had to be ready. Rushing definitely wasn't my thing, but I had to make a good impression, not really for me but more so for my parents, who still wouldn't leave me alone about this marriage that I was hardly interested in.

I sat down, only putting on a little makeup for today since it was just a simple lunch date. I put on my silver necklace and bracelets before standing up, slipping on my heels before walking out. I could already hear Prince Vincent's voice downstairs talking to my parents, seeming way more invested in them than he has been in other me lately, but I didn't even care, to be honest; I wasn't doing this marriage for me anyway.

I walked down the long flight of stairs, catching the prince's attention as I smiled softly at him, walking over as I let out a soft hum. "Good afternoon, Prince Vincent," I said, getting a smile out of the male. I watch as Prince Vincent gently held out his hand for me to grab, gently kissing it when I did, but it didn't make my heart flutter like he probably thought it would; instead, I felt nothing.

"Good afternoon to you too, my lady..you look absolutely gorgeous." the blonde male said to me as I watched his eyes trial up and down my figure, a soft sigh leaving me. "Are you ready for our date?" He asked as I felt him pull me close to him.

"Thank you.." I said softly at the compliment as I smiled and even gave a smile to my parents to be more convincing before looking back at the prince in front of me. "Of course I am," I said, walking off with the male as he headed down to the dining room. The date was super simple, but being in the castle was the best place for now. Both of our parents didn't want people crowding us while we got closer and got to know each other, but what they didn't know was that Prince Vincent didn't know one thing about me. He probably did even know my age. This man definitely was trying to pursue me. Maybe he was in the same situation as me, and I would ask if we didn't already talk about him all the time.

After some time, I was finally able to get away from Prince Vincent after some hours. I thought the male would give me a relief and make me forget about the mystery man, but he only made it worse considering I got so bored I started to daydream, trying to figure out who that man was that keeps showing up in the castle garden.

As I changed out of my dress and a simple black nightgown, I heard my door open, making me look back to see my mother standing at the door frame with a smile on her face, one full of happiness. "Hello mama," I said softly, adverting my eyes to my vanity as I set my necklace down.
