Aria POV.
I woke up to a beeping sound.
what happened?
I go to sit up, but I immediately lay back down when I feel a sharp pain in my chest.
oh my fucking shit.
I was shot.
we were being followed, and then we were being shot at.
on top of all that, the lights are so bright!
I looked down and saw they had changed my clothes, I'm now wearing a hospital gown.
wait - does this mean they know?
the door suddenly opens, revealing a panicked Ares who calms down once he sees me.
"Hey- oh shit! guys, she's awake!" He turns to yell in out the door to whom I'm assuming to be everyone else.
"mhm," I groan when everyone enters. well, everyone except greyson but I honestly have no more fucks to give.
"How are you feeling?" Enzo asks, "Water, " I say - and goddamn, how long have I been out for? my throat is all scratchy, and I'm incredibly thirsty.
"Hey, princess, so you're probably confused, " Father says but pauses, so I give a little nod for him to continue, "um, so you were shot, really close to the heart and you've been out for around a week and a half." he finishes giving me a look that I can't place.
"Oh." Is all I say.
"Uh, when can I leave?" I ask hesitantly, "you can leave later today, I just have to get your discharge papers." Father says.
okay, so I'll be out today.
(TIME SKIP)
I got discharged from the hospital around a week ago, I asked Elijah what happened, and he said that they brought me to the hospital wing in the house but they didn't have the necessary stuff to heal me or something so they took me to a hospital they owned. I think lijah said he worked there, but I'm not sure.
Greyson has been MIA since I was shot. i haven't seen him since.. actually, I can't remember when I last saw him. like I said, Grey has been MIA.
I walk to the kitchen, and on the way there I see dad's office door is partially open and I soo dad, Enzo and Grey all in there talking.
obviously, I need to feed my curiosity, so I start to eavesdrop.
I really fucking wish Ididn't.
"Dad, we can't have her here! she's fucking broken and abused. it's dangerous, too. send her away already for fucks sake!" I hear greyson yell at dad..
